Unbelievable. You guys are amazing. I love the way Redick augments the melody. Makes it sound like there’s another wind instrument in there at times. Please do Chippie or the Sphinx
This is the kind of content that should get blown up. Three dudes hanging out and making casual recordings of fresh, interesting music. I am so glad that you guys got picked up by the algorithm, and I hope you will continue to be discovered!
I’m just a teenager who likes to play trumpet, but this kind of music just fills me with something, I can’t explain it. I think it’s pure, concentrated, jazz soul. You have inspired me to keep going with my future jazz career, kudos to you!
@@newjazzunderground I hope the donation thing catches on. If everyone enjoying your music threw you guys a few bucks you could be making a nice living. From jazz. What a concept!
you guys are absolutely amazing. i found your swinging video from a few days ago and god damn. thank god you brought up the bass. its so good and has me wanting to learn jazz bass but i know i am NOT built for that lmao
@@trannydevito9748 no, it’s a step towards greatness! I practice jazz on my electric bass and I’ve only been playing for 5 years. It’s all in the soul. I’m with you on this one though man I too need an upright like this
holy shit that was awesome when Abdias went from that high note and down through all those notes! I had to listen to that a few times lol. I loved this
I normally only listen to extreme metal genres and old school heavy metal but I do have love for jazz and all different types of music. I love what you guys do and you always provide sick tracks. I just got done listening to some eyehategod and Leviathan so this is sounding pretty smooth lol
@@deerwatching1 I know that Atheist, Gorguts, Death and Doom (jp band) made some great metal albums with jazz influences. Other than that idk that much
Thank you so much guys for your work, dedication, discipline that you had to put in in order to achive this level of playing. Warms my heart to see this and motivate me a lot. Keep on swinging ! Much love from Bordeaux (France) !!
I gotta ask, did you guys ever attend a jazz school? I just get strong professional energies and it makes me appreciate it all the more, love y’all’s sound Edit: those bass chords hit so damn hard, and 4:14 was an incredible change in tempo, so groovy
Nice to actually hear some talented jazz in this age; oh and the bass can actually be heard in the mix!
A little louder for the people in the back!
May we all be as relaxed as the drummer, crazy as and raw as the bass player, and disciplined with soul like the sax player.

That's that Kwash touch!
No cap literally the best jazz band I’ve ever heard

I cant imagine the blisters on my thumb i would get if i tried to do what this bass is doing in that riff
Quite possibly my favorite Ornette piece, right up there with "Lonely Woman."

This is SUPERLATIVE.
Abdias has grown musically I feel like in the last couple of uploads. Really stretching out his ideas. The whole band is killing!!
Can’t wait for the album dudes
I don't have the slightest idea what is happening here rhythmically, but I like it.
Loved the ending on this one. Never really had a thing for jazz music but Im glad I came across your videos.
My favorite bass player, drummer and sax player around the jazz scene 😊❤a enjoyable smooth trio 😎
This, ladies & gentlemen, is an example of when keeping it real does NOT go wrong.

Same, but i think i love both jazz and metal the same
Combine them
there's lots of great metal albums that have splashes of avant garde jazz and it sounds like a match made in heaven
@@deerwatching1 I know that Atheist, Gorguts, Death and Doom (jp band) made some great metal albums with jazz influences. Other than that idk that much
Dude I think objectively jazz and metal are the best genres. I barely listen to metal though

Love the flow you guys have..Love to see young guys do their thing...
The saviors of jazz have arrived
This peace feels kinda flirtatious. It's fun, but sentimental at the same time. Or, maybe that's just me falling in love with the bassist, lol.
Amazing!!! It was nice to see Ornette's song played on soprano.
