This is my 7th lexus , I bought a 2015 rc about 3 years ago. Never had any issue , the handling is better than my GTR , bought it with 12,000 miles and it currently has 37,000 garage kept, fully modded awd runs like a champ that's why I will always stick with lexus , The reliability of lexus is like none other.
If anyone still has these cars you can replace the rear centre console with the one out of the RCF that has the roller door with twin cup holders. It is transformative on longer trips and just looks so much better as well. I ordered mine from Lexus Parts in Japan but I am not sure I’d they still sell them or not. It is an easy install and all you give up is you can’t then Completely fold the rear seat down on one side. I would also recommend changing out the plastic paddle shifters for the RCF aluminium ones and also I managed to get a brand new GSF shift knob that matches the red stitching of my interior. You can also add Apple car play and android auto through beat sonics too if you have a model prior to that upgrade being available. I added the Nvidia quad exhaust too to give it the RCF stacked type look and the sound is incredible too. It’s a great car and I have kept mine going on 7 years.
Interested in one of these right now. One question I have is if you can you fit golf clubs in the truck? Looking to downsize but would like to have something with a decent size truck!
I’m looking to get into one. Found one listed for $25k with 60k miles. Think this would be worth it? CarFax seems decent with all the regular maintenance performed. Obv will try to negotiate a bit. Just worried about the miles and maintenance. Looking for a car that I can have fun with without the headaches of expensive repairs/maintenance. Should I look elsewhere? My budget is around 26k
That sounds pretty sweet. Derek says there's fairly expensive service intervals (~$2k), but they're spread out pretty well Otherwise he's had zero issues with the car!
Thank you for sharing I love sports cars. The problem is I live in Ohio where the snow can get really high Once I found out that these cars come in awd Im now interested in buying one
I live in Minnesota and I own a 2015 Lexus 350 F sport AWD. It’s my daily driving car . Drove it through 8 to 10 inches of snow and a little blizzard it’s fine but sometimes I drive my suv if it’s to much snow Just to be cautious just slow down and break early my tires and all season tires. I bought it included tax and everything total around $32,000. The mileage was low 28,000.
The ASC and louder noise in sport are artificial on these cars. I also can't stand that Eco light, it's very distracting so I thankfully was able to turn it off. Eco mode is also ridiculously sluggish accelerating from a stop and saves hardly any gas so not using that anymore.
the car noise is ridiculous. No one can hear what your saying. Fix the acoustic before releasing the video. Sounds like Im standing on an aircraft helipad

RC handling better than GTR hahaha

What mods you got ?

i have a 2015 and i can say sport+ definitely does not "require" use of the paddle shifters
Love my rc 350.. just wish it came with an Active exhaust.
It does sound pretty great going through tunnels!
There is a Lexus F-Sport Performance exhaust.
I just bought mines and im loving it.Great car.
Good choice!
Seats DO go down. 😄
The rear seat backs fold down.

Derek says golf clubs should fit no problem!

The one reviewed is AWD, and the owner really likes that!

Glad you like it!
Is this a good car for year round road trips throughout the Midwest? Does it get fatiguing?
I'd like it for that, but I will try to get Derek's opinion soon!
I just got mine and love it question with the windows down do you notice the backseat seatbelt flaps and is annoying, have any tips.
We're hoping to get back to you on this ASAP!
Strap the seat belts in so they don't flap
how much was the 60k service from dealer?
We'll get back to you on that!
90k was around $2,000, Derek says.
@@Driven2DistractionAutos thats an expensive visit
Too true!
@@Driven2DistractionAutos more than for an Audi?? Damn..
Dream car😭😭
It is pretty great!
Did he say " entry Level" wtf? Weren't these like 62 grand.....
More meaning compared to the RCF, I think.
@@Driven2DistractionAutos ahh ok I see
How reliable are these past 125k?
I'll check with Derek!
It's lexus...well taken care of 300,000+ miles
Nice car......
I love mine ! ! !
I should try to talk Derek out of his for sure!
How is the maintenance?
Regular service intervals are a little pricey but there have been no surprise problems.

The 2015 doesn't have ASC but 2016 and up do
Is that sunroof rattling when you go over bumps?
To my knowledge that sound is from some unsecured items in back or possibly the GoPro mount itself. Thanks for checking in!
How much you bought it for
I think Derek said it was in the 30's.
Sounds like it has quite a bit of road or tire noise. Not engine noise.
Part of that could be the crummy GoPro audio as well.
Yeah it does thanks to the 265 35 r19 rear tyres. Doesn’t both me though, I got. Quad exhaust to drown it out lol
No

Thanks for feedback!
Entry Level? GTFOH
With car prices the way they are these days, I think you're right!
first
Yeah, you are!
