    Hope you all enjoyed the very first interview with Elena, from Poland. We had some audio issues for this first episode, but it's a learning process, so going forward audio and video will only improve. If you liked what Elena had to say, go check out her Instagram page (I link to it in description). Next week we have Finland where we talk about Finnish culture, why Finland keeps getting voted the happiest country, and of course.. dating. 😁

    What a great and informative episode! Dating in Poland sounds so rational, sane and easy. We have to protect this precious country and burn down this cheap situationship! Thank you both for having this conservation :)

    Thank you so much for having me, Marina! It was so lovely to have that honest, intimate, and fun conversation about Poland, culture differences, and dating. 🤗 You're a great host!
    To everyone watching: my apologies for the poor quality of audio on my side. I'm an Instagrammer and usually use a clip-on mic. I didn't realize my computer microphone is so bad 🤦🏼‍♀️🙈 Hope you can enjoy the interview regardless 🤗

    This definitely depends on where in Poland you’re at. Women in Poland from what I’ve observed like to act traditional when it benefits them. Go outside the touristy parts. That’s where the wives are.

    the golddigger stereotypes come from the 90ties after the end of the cold war. but since then Poland developed relatively successful, is not anymore a poor country and especially the younger generation is similar to others of the Western culture (just a bit more traditional), and those old stereotypes make less and less sense (especially for themself) - even if they still exists outside of Poland - also about other 'Eastern' Europe countries. Btw, Poland is with Germany, Czech, Slovakia, Austria etc. actually rather part of Central Europe ('Eastern' associations are based on the old political division between the 'West' and the 'East' - which is nowadays also pointless) ...

    • @toomuchinformation
      @toomuchinformation 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Is it pointless though? Isn’t it fair to say the political history has had an indelible effect on the culture?

    • @phoearwenien4355
      @phoearwenien4355 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@toomuchinformation Poland has always been central geographically, culturally and politically. So yes, it's pointless.

    So, I stumbled across this video yesterday. You two, (I know you're not a team), are quite entertaining, and informative. You win! I am now a subscriber. In addition to thank you for the video, I'd like to condemn you for being a bad influence. My curiosity got the best of me, and I looked up, and am about to watch "365 days." Don't tell anyone. I look forward to perusing your videos, and seeing your new offerings. You two take care.

    I followed Elena but I do not really use phone apps/Instagram. I wanted to add here that this conversation is also not age bound. I am 66, have the same consideration you gals have. I want a mensch, a good man, honest, reliable, responsible, there for me. Be it with a screw driver or willing to watch DIY TH-cams with me to do it together. Finding solutions together. Not finding things to pick at "improve" criticize or "advise" about. I do not want a lot of talky talk. I do not give out my phone number. I want acceptance, respect, protection. Not necessarily in that order. Fools need not apply. I live with a dog in Northern Israel now. My father was Polish. If it turns out I am, I will visit Poland next. Polish is not hard to understand but for me it's very challenging to spell.

    • @ipodman1910

      Poland has always been tolerant to all minorities. That’s why we don’t want to step to the affirmative side. West must do it as west has always been intolerant and xenophobic.
