I love how the Kelsey, Garrick, and Zach all took like a 10 minute pause from the podcast to make their own Guilty Pleasure Nicole Kidman "Somehow Heartbreak feels good in a place like this" ad for the movie-going experience😂
Stared watching this and paused so I could watch this movie. Put it on for me and my hubby to watch he didn't have high hopes because I love putting on guilty pleasure movies. He loved it! We had such a great time laughed so hard and Jesse plemmons really steals the show. One of the best guilty pleasure recommendations to date!
I laughed so hard I couldn’t breathe at some points. 😆 This is genuinely one of the funniest and most enjoyable movies I’ve ever seen and I’m glad it’s finally getting some recognition! 🎉
After Horrible Bosses and Office Christmas Party I thought this would be super fun and goofy and great and it was far better than that. Absolutely my favorite of the set and I put it on often. Great cast, fun cameos, and entertaining plot.
I agree. It's painfully underrated. Game Night is too funny. A truly fun comedy. I ALSO agree with FARGO Year 2 being the best season of television. I've said it before quite often.

Please do an episode where you all watch the first season of Slings & Arrows. She's amazing in it. Such a delight. And I think one of the reasons this movie didn't do better in the theaters is because it came out the weekend after Black Panther, which (justifiably) kind of sucked all the cultural chatter air out of the room.
I saw this movie in a Walmart 5 dollar bin years ago and read the back and just from the blurb I bought it and I’m so freaking glad I did because I was right and I do love it!

it was because of you guys mentioning game night several eps ago that i remembered i actually rly wanted to see this movie when it came out so i finally watched it! i can be picky with comedy but the humor genuinely seemed up my alley and yeah, it the nail on the head. what a wacky and hilarious movie; it's ridiculous and absurd and just an all-around GOOD TIME! (P.S. the opening sold me immediately with the queen song and DDR dance at their wedding so i knew i'd love it LOL)
I miss Rachel McAdams she needs to be in more things. Also Jason Bateman??? One of my all time favs. I also love a good game night lmao, so this was right up my alley. Also, even though I'm so over the MCU these days, I'll never forget being at the opening night of Infinity War and when Cap steps appeared on screen for the first time, stepping out of the shadows, with that damn beard! and the whole theatre, we all lost out minds. The sense of community in some of those insane movie moments... exquisite
This movie was *nuts*, I loved it. Hearing y'all talk about it reminded me of 2 other comedies I really enjoyed, The Lovebirds (Netflix, 2020) and Mr. Right (2015)! I think you'd like the comedic dialogue and direction in both of them. It's always a delight to watch/listen to these episodes, so thanks for another great one 😁

One of my favorite things about this movie is also how uncharacteristically sweet Jason Bateman's character is to Rachel McAdams. He's usually a sarcastic bitch who doesn't let anybody get away with dumb choices or mistakes, but he always stays sweet to her, calling her baby and keeping her in a good head space. I don't know why that felt so significant to me, but it feels rare for him and I really liked it haha
Please do the Rocky Horror Picture Show!!! Hearing your thoughts on this and how much you loved how this movie played into the situation, I need to hear your thoughts on the camp classic that is Rocky.
