I saw Magic Mike and clicked SO FAST. As a lady who's not attracted to men, I love telling people I love this movie because no one who has never watched it knows how AMAZING it is.They always expect it to be a shirtless guys fest for middle aged women, but it's a masterpiece

Initially, I did low-key judge the movie but it was my ignorance. I think the main takeaway was that male intimacy, entrepreneurship and sex work were delicately balanced.
P.S. More power to Channing Tatum to be empowered to tell his story.
This was by far thee MOST chaotic episode I’ve listened too and I’M HERE FOR IT 🎉❤ I love the free flowing banter between you 3, without the regular format it was SOOO entertaining to listen too 😂🤣

When my cousin and I were like pre-teens, our younger sisters watched The Princess and the Pauper at a double sleepover and we made fun of them for it and called the movie dumb. But then after they went to bed we grabbed the portable CD player and secretly watched it on my cousin’s bedroom floor. SUCH A GUILTY PLEASURE. That movie is a masterpiece.
I haven't finished the ep yet but if someone doesn't tell Kelsey that Channing is openly bi, I'm gonna riot. She needs to know he's one of us!

Magic Mike and Magic Mike XXL are totally different in tone but honestly I live for the sequel. The funniest thing ever was watching XXL with my mum and my aunt and my aunt getting annoyed at how good it was. That woman was like wtf how is this so much fun and it was awesome
Didn't watch this when it came out, but ended up going to see the second one with a bunch of friends for one of their 40th birthday. We had a blast then obviously had to go back and watch this.

I usually just listen to the podcast but had to come to TH-cam just to leave a comment about how this is absolutely the best episode of the podcast yet. Matthew McConaughey really is one of the best of our time. I like the sequel a lot more though.
Ok so regarding a "hog to write home about," check out Gabriel Iglesias bit about playing the club DJ in the movie. It is hilarious and very informative.
When I saw the episode was about Magic Mike, I couldn't bring myself to watch this episode till I watch the movie and MY GOSH, it was pretty good! The discourse in this ep is absolutely hilarious!! Especially the guys' stripper schtick.

I say this with so much love, because I genuinely do like kelsey, I watch her other podcast with zach, she is so wild and funny.
Buttttt..... I just wish she wouldn't steamroll the other guys so much. Sometimes someone is saying something so interesting and she just barrels them over to say her own thing and the thread is lost. I wish she'd be a little more mindful and inclusive in her conversations to allow others to say their points or jokes.
Love the podcast, guys! Genuinely one of my faves to listen to, I'm a faithful watcher even if I haven't seen the movie because I love your comraderie and commentary so much. 💗

@Silvia Paz I agree with you, they do tend to cut each other off a lot. Except maybe Garrick, he usually gets run over by everyone else and he always has such interesting takes, so it's frustrating. They all have great chemistry together tho, and clearly are all friends. So maybe its just a me problem lol
