Had a 225 a few years ago, same as that, black 54 plate, loved it, had to do the swivel bearings on it and a bush in the steering rack, fitted a set of lowered springs (i do all my own work), loved it, everything worked, had the fabulous pano sunroof, had to sell it in the end as i couldn't justify the running costs, £350 a year for tax, 22 mpg round the doors and it needed rear brake discs for the MOT at £250, sold it for a bargain with a short MOT. Still love them, would have another in a heartbeat.

I've owned one of these for 4 years it's been a fun car but also the biggest pain and drain of my life nothing but problems I can't wait to get rid and get something newer and better

Mine is from 2005, has done about 240 000 kilometers and has no warning lights or any problems at all. Except for Eibach lowering springs and stage 1 map the car is pretty much standard.
Oh and the face lift cup pack has upgraded suspension and other bits and bobs so they are even better for handling
how much is this selling for? or roughly how much wwould it cost? its a beauty and im needing a new car

Own Lotus Esprit GT3 97, this is quicker much cheaper+ better fun, plus more importantly not many left. 188 lotus esprits gt3 whereas Renault megane 225s Honest John 179 last time I checked most scrapped recycled. Better than Renault 5 Turbos now+ pack more punch. See Cossie fetching 600k these globally will do same 20 yrs time imo.

Anybody with car knowledge knows that french car electronics is a fragile thing, to buy such you need to know what your looking at.
