just wanted to say thanks for the video! ur the only one ive found that talks about the 2 screws hiding behind hazard light and rear defroster buttons!! finally got that out just to get a stuck aftermarket stereo the cars precious owner installed finally out

Hey since I took this out my AC quit working what do you think I disconnected.
I watched your video in that cord that's connected to the fan switch that's what came disconnected so I pushed it back in the same way you took it out thank you so much for this video it has helped me more than once now

On the 1996 civic can I change out just the AC switch or do I have to change the whole panel

Hey I have a 97 coupe, Im just wondering if I pulled out my climate control, will I be able to fit a ‘00 climate control? Im planning to install a 2DIN head unit so I think it would be great to have 99-00 climate control.
no is your answer because the plugs are completely different to hook up the climate control and the 97 is ran by that cable he removed nd 99 nd up is all electronic

@@yigitkahraman9490 Hey! Well I ended up removing everything he removed and it was not that hard. Took me a couple of hours. As for the radio I bought one in amazon which had bluetooth for 35€. You can search for Civic compatible radios and just buy one. Good luck!

no it wouldnt be. The 99 00 civic have a completely different unit and plugs. if i remember correct, the 99 00 civics have 3 plugs, whereas the 96-98 have 4 plugs and a cable.

I followed this steps and now my 98 Civic EJ9 wont start, crank no start. Is there anything behind this that could make that problem or does anyone has a same problem.
Check engine light is on I hooked up OBD2 scanner through Honda 3 pin connector with adapter and it is giving me error that OBD scanner can’t read from ECU (like ECU has no power).

So I finally started trying to pull this out what a pain in the ass by the way. Just to let people know there are four screws underneath the climate control and they are a b**** to get out.

Worse than I thought. I believe I must remove my Blend Door Actuator (no front defrost) located just above the foot feed (accelerator pedal). Electrical part costs ~ C$65.
I cured it though...my '98 Honda Civic DX is my summer car. My 2003 Saturn Ion is my winter car.
I took off the Bevel on my Saturn and never quite got it back together🤨.
I got both cars for free so I can't complain, but they are frustrating jobs!

Just saved my butt. Daughter bought 1998 civic ex. The whole stereo needed to be rewired... I got it all in . rewired. Thru in some Cerwin Vega speakers.... Got everything back in... But no ac/heater. All connections are connected
It worked before.. HELP
