Beautiful, the way how you connected with the Caribbean culture of Costa Rica. The way how you transmitted the purity of this place is so nice ✨ I’m from Cahuita 🫶🏼🌴
Thank you so much for your kind words ❤️ I loved it so so much there and most likely that is why you can see and feel this energy coming through the video ☺️ Cahuita is beautiful!
I’m Canadian living on the central Pacific coast 24 years and you are right about it bringing back the smile on my face. That’s why I can’t imagine ever leaving.
I'm just watching some videos reminiscing about 2023 where I spend 9 weeks off and on over 3 trips to PV. Port vell OMG I ate the vegan gallon pinto a few days a week even though I'm not vegan 😮. Cocles is ok, I mostly went on weekends for fire dance show on Saturday night and to eat Caribbean chicken from my guy at Take it Easy. I spent most of my daytime at Playa Chiquita which is just before punta uva. The bike ride was long from my spot on the black sand beach but I think it's the best beach, way better than Punta Uva and always had green macaws. Thanks for visiting Temps at Jammin, my favourite was jerk jackfruit too and his sorrel. I regret not stopping by as much on my last trip as I had to save cash by cooking at my hostel.
Thank you very much for your comment! Omg, Yes, Temps is such a kind soul, I loved dining at his place so much! I liked Playa Chiquita too, when I was editing the video I realized I didn't have any footage from there, that's why it's not included in the video, but I absolutely agree with you, its beautiful!
On the black sands beach north of Puerto Viejo there were so many naturel wood scuptures to discover! Some of them i brought home as a gift to family and friends. And the biggest ones out there were bigger than a truck, posed to sea, sand and sun. So amaising.
Please don’t move to Costa Rica. Gentrification is severely impacting our economy and environment. After hundreds of thousands of foreigners arrived and gentrified provinces like Guanacaste, they are now starting to gentrify other provinces. We Costa Ricans can no longer cope with this; we are losing everything. Those of us who used to live on the coasts had to leave our homes because rent and food prices rose so much that we could no longer afford them. Our salaries are around $800 USD per month; we can’t keep paying gentrification prices.
hello! I am from Costa Rica, from the city of Limon! I hope you have enjoyed your experience so far in our country! Thank you very much, a place that I recommend is going to Playa Jaco! or to Guanacaste Iguanita beach!, also Quepos, are very beautiful places! although I don't think you want to go back the way you came hahaha, I hope you have a good time! 😊❤
Hello there! Thank you very much for all your recommendations! I’ve fallen in love with Costa Rica and can’t wait to go back one day! Next time I’m in your country I’ll be definitely checking out those places you mentioned ☺️ thank you!
Privet. You sound so happy being there in Costa Rica. I love my home in Costa rica too but its also sad and lonely to travel alone. Its nice two people enjoy the experience together and remind eachother things like a night ner the fire pit. Two peolple are like that panoramic 360 view camera.
Hi there, thank you for sharing your opinion. I view things a little differently, for me traveling alone is a form of self-discovery and it’s very interesting experience! Of course traveling together is amazing too, but sometimes it’s not possible to do, and so I believe one should not stop themselves from traveling only because they’re going ro be alone on that trip. This is fun too ☺️
Hy Iryna. Just wanted to say hello. Interesting that you like a black beach. I was in Costa Rica July 2 to 11 2022, and first landed in Oduber airport. Friends of my cousin then drove us to the capital and then onto the Caribbean side. I loved Playa Arrecife and Manzanillo where we had a terrific meal at Mr. Maxies.
@@johnschmidt9195 hi John! Yeah, I loved the black beach, especially with the sunlight present, it looked the sand was full of diamonds or something, it sparkled so much! ☺️
Iryna will you be there still the start of March? I’m moving in a few weeks and your videos are amazing! I feel the exact same way about puerto viejo! I’m from Scotland 🏴 visited in May and it stole my heart! Especially the black sand beach xxxx
Hi Steph! Thank you so much for your kind words ☺Yes, I know, I've fallen in love with Puerto Viejo and it is probably my favorite place in CR. I wish we could meet, but I already left the country, but who knows, I might be coming back one day ☺ If so I will let you know! Wishing you all the best with your move! 🤗
I love your video and intention during trip , which transportation did you use to get this area from airport or Sanjose?I'm thinking solo trip as well.
Thank you! I took a direct public bus from Mepe Terminal in San José, but that was a bit tough I have to say. You can also book a direct shuttle to Puerto Viejo from the airport or San José city. You can Google shuttle Costa Rica and contact a few companies to find out all the details. This is more of a pleasant way to get there, but the bus will do too, so it’s basically up to you ☺️
Hilarious, I lived here for four years right when Puerto had just gotten electricity. Mostly locals and a couple of surfers back then. The coast was still owned by local farmers. That part has been lost.(made with coconut milk) and journey cake. It was a great middle class community of cocoa farmers. Are you Ukrainian?
