Canning Garlic Dill Pickles-

  • Pickling is one of my favorite things to do. I love the way pickles look in the jar. I love having these to give as gifts. Let me know what you think. I love to hear from you. Be so blessed.
    Recipe:
    1 part vinegar
    1 part water
    1 tsp salt for each cup water
    1 tsp sugar for each cup water
    In each jar:
    1 tsp pickling spice
    1 tsp mustard seed
    1 tsp dill
    cucumbers
    garlic

      @@saltandlightcanning4061 thank you for responding so quickly. I love your canning recipes. I plan to make the pickles, carrots and the bbq sauce 🤔 I think it was BBQ. Who am I kidding I plan to preserve everything you have posted 😂

    Do you bring your water bath to a boil for 19 minutes?

    Did you bring brine to a boil and then process for 10 minutes?

      I don't boil my brine. I only heat it enough to dissolve the salt and sugar, then I turn the heat off and let it cool. This helps me have crispy pickles.
