So I can stop twisting the ends with a bunch of tape pretending it’s my piece of candy design!? Thanks, next year TH-cam recommend before I wrap not after Xmas, the nerve
I have always been able to wrap a cylinder by pleating but your technique of beginning by folding in the side and then being able to tuck in the end without tape takes it to a new level. This will be my new go to way to wrap cylinders. Thank you for sharing!
I had a bunch of cylindrical gifts to wrap this year. Thank you so much for this clear and concise video, it was just what I needed! They don’t look quite as good as yours, but the last one was certainly better than the first.
Thank you so much. I wasn’t sure how to wrap an extremely large round tin of Lincoln Logs. This worked great with a few adjustments because, of the much larger size of the tin. Thanks. ❤
Gifts are not given only for Christmas. Some viewers are intrigued as to why this great CHRISTMAS GIFT WRAPPING VIDEO has been recommended in 2020. First, maybe that they were watching GIFT WRAPPING VIDEOS BEFORE CHRISTMAS and had BEEN RECOMMENDED. Have you guys forgotten that there are birthdays, Easter, Valentine's Day, LOVE AND ROMANCE and plenty more throughout the year and this video will be helpful at some stage. Keep smiling. 👌👌👌👍👍👍🌞🌞🌞😘
Wow I am so impressed I spent ages wrapping a handcrafted candle for a gift for my friend last night, but wasn't really happy with the result and it took me ages!
Great! Fifty years ago as a teenager I wrapped presents at my dad’s camera store. We never used tape either, only sealing wax. Doing the counter clockwise is easier if you are right handed. Enjoy!
So neat! My chin is still on the floor! 😱 I only subscribe to LOA channels but this will be the first one different just because this gentleman does such clean and precise videos, keep up the great job! PS: I wish I watched this when it was originally posted!
Because if you do that, you will have to have the initial corner folds on opposite sides. The corner fold is to allow for a finished edge at the end, otherwise it would be unfolded.
No wonder you like ability it’s so high, you are awesome 👏, thank you for bringing back your channel to what it was, so entertainment so random & super cool 😎
Pro: No need to buy Scotch tape this year. Con: Everyone will be getting a can of Pringles for Christmas this year.
There are other good stuff in a cylinder... =D
@@BeatTheBush Like tennis balls!
wait. who says getting a bunch of pringles is a con?
Well he has a new video on boxes now.
😂
This is the most honest tutorial I’ve ever seen; straight to the point! Wonderful!
Gifts type:
1- without any wrap
2- in a bag
3- wrap with a tape
4- Asian wrapping
Asian gifts don't need wraps, it's just a fucking scratch ticket.
Japanese. Not entire Asia.
Why is youtube recommending me this after christmas and on new years day
Jan. 6th.... why now?
LilicornRainbow Cupcake Just because virtuallity is timeless! (Mwahahahaha!!)
There is still birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and etc. Wrapping gifts isn't just for Christmas.
Omg I know right
FBI saw me doing a bad job with wrapping the cylinder shaped late Xmas gift yesterday and recommend this today
So I can stop twisting the ends with a bunch of tape pretending it’s my piece of candy design!? Thanks, next year TH-cam recommend before I wrap not after Xmas, the nerve
Yea ikr
Now you have a whole year to become master folder.
4chan Hacker, Christmas

I'm going to only give cylinder presents for the rest of my life now.

He has a tutorial for normal boxes too.
LOL you’re so humorous

Glad I could help!
Going back to the BtB classics! I still remember watching your Japanese wrapping video 3 years ago.
That was a long time ago!
He's like the Marie Kondo of presents
Is it just me finding the gift wrapping by videos therapeutic? To beat the bush - you are doing some great art work dude. Love your work!!!
This is great! I always found wrapping a cylinder shape a real challenge!
Thanks for showing this to me literally 1 day after all the holidays are done.
Not yet Chinese New year is coming up.
Do you ever give anyone birthday gifts?
You are a great teacher. Explaining exactly what we need to know, how to accomplish it and no extraneous info. Thanks

Wow thanks, living in Japan the girls were so fast at doing this and I tried to be real cool and never could do it, thank you again
engineering degree = useful
Lol... does this need an engineering degree? I can never tell.
@@BeatTheBush definitely! I know there's a good reason I put my kid through college. Right? Lol
His channel is called beat the bush but this dude doesn't beat around the bush and go straight to the point thankyou
This was great. I bet you'd be a great teacher. Thanks Bush.
=D Thanks!
@@BeatTheBush You are welcome.
I can't even wrap a gift WITH tape.
Think of the compound interest on the tape savings! Madness!
Thank you so much. I wasn’t sure how to wrap an extremely large round tin of Lincoln Logs. This worked great with a few adjustments because, of the much larger size of the tin. Thanks. ❤
Thank you for the spoken explanation/rationale. Like anything worth doing, this takes time to master, but your clear explanation gives me hope!
2:09 The moment your mind gets blown! 🤯
Wow!
This is the technique that I am looking for especially for wrapping cylinder gifts. Thank you.
=D Glad you found it!
Gotta love the dumpling comparison
So happy to find your video this year! I have a dozen Bath & Body candles to wrap. I would have used 12 rolls of tape by now.
Love his voice, so calming
Thank you for useful tip. Although, on the first attempt, I could not do without the tape - the packaging turned out to be cool.
Now I know how to gift wrap candles 😍😍😍

Best teacher ever 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

That was Sick!!! Well done! Great, clear, clean instructions!
Interesting wrapping technic if patient enough, but then again I never wrap cylinder gifts, thanks for sharing

Incredible .... and for the first time since my childhood I actually want Xmas to come round again.
BtB! Very clever! I'll use this. Thanks
=D
Unreal, will try! Thanks!
This is so neat! Love it. Thank you.
Super helpful and easy to follow
Wow this method is even better than the Martha stewart one!

Tbh I thought he was saying something else
thank you for this, merry chirstmas!
Happy holidays!
Thank you for teaching this to us.
I'm pretty good with a cylinder but this is a whole new level. Thanks!
I worked with japaneses and they said: " do the package for the gift as if it were your heart, easy to open and no marks" really learned lot.
Awesome video! Now to find a cylinder to practice on...
a roll of toilet paper ;)
WOW very impressed. Thank you
Amazing because it's so simple !
This man deserves a like
TQ so much for the great idea 😅
Smart idea... love it 🤗🤗 thank you very much
I subscribed coz this one is really helpful.
Odd shaped gift wrapping TH-camrs must be in cahoots with the people who write physics books:
"Assume this (stuffed) penguin is a perfect cylinder."
gonna use this to wrap rolls of toilet paper...... no one gonna run out of toilet paper this holiday!!!
Is there a reason the bottom needs to be counter clockwise, or just for the look of it? Seems like you could do the same direction for both ends?
Because if you do that, you will have to have the initial corner folds on opposite sides. The corner fold is to allow for a finished edge at the end, otherwise it would be unfolded.
You are a genius my friend .. thanks so much !! 🤗
You are a funny guy with all funny ideas. Show us to wrap a square stuff next time.
This is actually a sequel to the square wrapping video. It's here: th-cam.com/video/BQM8KKP-3Oo/w-d-xo.html
Thanks much. I just watched it and gave it a LIKE. It's a good one. X'mas is coming. It helps a great deal.
