Battlefield bad company 2 worked the same with hip fire physics. It made me feel less venerable as a sniper knowing I could quickly take someone out in front of me.
I play this game all the time and never once used a sniper. It takes the fun of a firefight out of the game . Once you learn the mechanic its just repetitive. Same reason nobody likes grenades or the G-L9 . Now knives are fun. You inly get 2 unless you pick more up and it still takes skill. Im not busting on snipers, i never get mad. But it definitely takes the fun and the fire fight out if the equation.

Sniper bullets travel straight on. Once you get used to pinpointing the dead center of your screen, all you have to do is shoot. Because the bullets travel straight, no-scope kills are quite easy in CM.
Honest to god pc is easy as hell you don’t need to learn anything which makes it unfair but with mobile you actually have to learn the buttons and sh*t which sucks so mobile players are better🙌
