the pre lci is better to be honest.
One thing no reviewer ever mentions and it bothers me is the sound system. I came from an Evoque with Meridian Surround and when I listened to the Velar's system I couldn't believe how much worse it was. Pretty sure it still sounds awful in this one
My perfect vehicle!
2024 Range Rover Velar P400 Dynamic HSE 3.0L Turbocharged Inline-6 8-Speed Automatic 4X4!
Why no auto start button on the key still smh
You can get a RR Sport, which is much nicer, for that price.
Which colour you are reviewing
NICE, WHAT COLOR IS THIS?
I have the D275 R Dynamics in Red, which looks better than this HSE version in the video, my dad has the Vogue and I was given the Sport, while waiting for my car to be delivered. Car ride, the Velar is the best drive, the Vogue is very good, but very bouncy, great if you like that, the Sport is just awful and the Velar is an extraordinary drive for the weight of the car it's nicely balanced between the other two, sporty and comfortable. Build quality on most Land Rovers are pretty pants (2 oil leaks in less than 3 years), but if and when I give up my Velar, I will be quite gutted.
Any hybrid models
The way the screen is not integrated into the dash looks like they forgot about it during development and just glued an iPad onto the dash 😂
Which is crazy cus the 2 integrated ones looked better.
Still better and looks more integrated then Tesla. At least this is curved and looks part of it
@@mambofox4333 land rovers are quite unreliable and breakdown a lot. That's why they have reduced the techs and buttons. Lesser tech, lesser the chances of breaking down
And if, or when that screen fails, you have no controls available. Also, it's unfortunate that everyone is following Tesla's lead with the floating center screens, rather than integrating them into the dash. Now, when you rest your hand on the top of the screen, since you have to steady for the many times you'll need to make a menu selection while you're moving, that torque will eventually loosen if not break that mount. Then there's the dust or debris that will accumulate in the crevice behind it.
@@hclmed it's nothing more than cost cutting and the dumb consumers are falling for it.
Compared with Cadillac Escalade
😍😍
It's not all new. It's 6 years old.
Is there ever going to be a video where you actually say video? 😂
🤷♂️
The Velar is far from all new, it's been around for years.
Damn they messed that up
Good review Ben
The interior of the new Velar left me cold (too minimalist, like a Volvo). Much prefer the Jag F-Pace interior and performance. F-Pace are a much better value than Velar (built on same platform) and have soul. Glad I bought the 2023 F-Pace SVR. Jags are for drivers. Range Rovers are for posers.
It looks like they are cheap
