You have transformed your lego room. I sold my store just before you did and I haven't made much progress at all. Apart from filling a large number of holes and repainting all I have managed so far is to put up one small bookcase.
I have a hard taskmaster who won't put up with any mess for too long :) I enjoyed the transformation and to be truthful the weekend before selling my store I "accidentally" bought the TV and sofa so needed to get a move on.
Welcome back to the world of vlogs! Room looks good. Music channel you say? Umm. 🤔 That could work 🤣. In no way connected with the above, I have been listening to the new Deep Purple cd (=1), a bit of a return to form I would say. And the Frost* back catalogue. And have the new Mostly Autumn and Ghost Machine cds album on pre-order for early 2025.
Oh Dan I've missed our chats :) I'm sure I told you I loved the Deep Purple album, and I'm not a big (modern-day) Purple fan. I've been listening to Frost a little bit too ( I think we must move in the same recommendation circles). I've mostly been re-visiting my vinyl over recent weeks and bought a new (old) CD player at the weekend (after much research and a 6-hour round trip), so am now diving into those too. Having a great quality CD player is really giving them a new life.
Looks great, very jealous of the space. Almost all my CDs are in storage, but our 12 year old has somehow ended up as a big fan of physical media so something along those lines might have to be a plan for the future. Will follow a new channel if you choose to go that way. Out of interest, are you still doing consulting calls for the old Lego? But congrats on the retirement and Merry Christmas! Hope 2025 is a good one for you!
Thanks! I'm loving having everything back out of storage. Be sure to encourage your young one to have the physical media, so much nicer than owning digital files. I'm happy to still do consulting calls if your interested. Merry Xmas to you and yours too.
Once a reseller, always a reseller. I actually had a reasonable month selling off some odd Lego items that were'nt part of the store sale i.e. The UCS Millenium Falcon. But all on a new personal account to avoid fees etc. - I have been thinking hard about buying and selling records & CD's :)
I miss the interaction with the community but not the Lego or the stress of meeting my own upload deadlines. I'm thinking hard about whether I want to start with a new channel, content or audience.
Yeah, I only came for the bricks. So I'll be going. Good luck in the future.
Thanks for stopping by
Hi Keith, didn't realise you'd stopped with the Lego selling. Room looks awesome, enjoy your retirement, all the best.
Thanks! Yeah sold up a month or two back now
Nice to see you, Keith. Great to see what you've done the room and that you're enjoying yourself post-LEGO!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the update.

Thanks! Glad you like it. ☺️

Haha - yeah about 3 stone. Thanks!!
I don't think you have stopped the reseller game there's too many CDs tapes and records you haven't sold yet 😂
