It’s good to see Mike answering most of the questions straightforwardly. Probably becuase of the language barrier. He was often super sarcastic during interviews in the 90’s. Good to see him relaxed
I speculate that he knew that this cranky and ignorant bald guy interviewing him didn't know shit about what was happening anyway. And the interview was 95.
Rena Contreras Man was born to love Though often he has sought Like Icarus, to fly too high. And far too lonely than he ought To kiss the sum of east and west And hold the world at his behest To hold the terrible power To whom only gods are blessed But me, I am just a man - Mike Patton
"Well... what is it about us that you like?! Maybe you better tell me!" hahaha He's so smart, he always finds a way to embarrass the interviewers with their own questions. *_*
dude, all my friends think I'm crazy for sharing the same opinion as you - absolutely, I think Mike Patton does for music what Jim Carrey does for movies (and visa versa). I also believe that they do hold strong vocal and physical resemblances, especially when they are in the midst of creating fine art - good catch, Busia63!
Mike is just watching and listening like anyone would. But it's spinning the interviewer out. Cause Mike has such concentrated attention. But what else are ya guna do? Eat mcdonalds?
Holy s**t! I'm going to reply to a 10 year old comment. I agree with what you're saying. Patton is actually being very polite to this interviewer. He's just the type of person that doesn't mind admitting he doesn't really have a good answer to that question off the top of his head. I find that refreshing and honest. Some artists are would start a stream-of-consciousness explanation of the top of their heads that would be complete drivel. What he's asking the interviewers opinion, it says he's curious to hear it.
He really is easy on the eyes 👀 even now I’d still tap 2020 Patton 😍 he’s ageing well, a lot better than most rockers! 😚💜💕 plus he’s super clever and I like guys that are well read 😉
This is a a short glimpse into a very brief window of time between him being too immature and green to take interviewers seriously and too wise and experienced to take interviewers seriously. I kid. He's actually become a great interview if he feels like it. And I think he doesn't really do anything he doesn't feel like now, so his interviews tend to be very satisfying for me as a huge fan. One thing he does hear that he still does today that I really like is if he's ask a question and he thinks about it and is honestly not sure he'll say "I don't know. What do you think about it?". Not in an evasive or confrontational way. But in such a way that he's thought about it but he realizes he would need to thinking about it before he answered. And he's just curious if you have given it any thought. A lot of people would feel the need to give some sort of answer off the top of their heads, regardless of how disingenuous and banal it might be.
Hmm, have you noticed he looks kinda like Jim Carrey? Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan and all, and I'm not making fun of him, but there is some similarity:P Especially when he talks.

It's just a phase.
Based on PART of one interview.
@@mediacopycatkillers "you'll grow out of it"
Yeah when he was more young

Interviewer "what I like about you is that you don't fool around with sinthesizers"
Mike - "we do... we do."
MIKE, YOU'RE A TRUE GENTLEMAN. LOVE YOU AND THE MUSIC. THANKS
"You don't fool around with synthesisers..... apart from the keyboard player and all that"
Mike Patton you rock

i love going to smaller gigs. its so much more up close and personal.
Does anyone actually prefer stadium shows over intimate club style gigs??
nobody cares about you :)
Yeah the only thing good about big concerts are people , sometimes the crow is creazy and you had a good time
So HANDSOME 😍
Patton is the fucking man!
+Paul Xavier nope, just a man.

Mike Pattons of this world have a hard life having to go through all these silly reporters everywhere, asking inane questions. And all that.
Mike is just watching and listening like anyone would. But it's spinning the interviewer out. Cause Mike has such concentrated attention. But what else are ya guna do? Eat mcdonalds?
he always beat those scripted questions with real talk. you can tell even in his conversation that he despise mainstream in every sense
the most epic epicly epicness himself !!!
@Nielly he wasn't trying to embarass the interviewer; that's how conversations with strangers are
there's some awkward pauses and stuff in there

Nutty original
1995 , como ha pasado el tiempo, y MIKE canta mucho mejor hoy que en esos dias
young mike patton looks just like young john mayer and slight resemblance to jaco. they're probably all one person lol
I think he more resembles Johnny Depp
Never heard of her.
Johnny is pedestrian next to Mike.
Hmm, have you noticed he looks kinda like Jim Carrey? Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan and all, and I'm not making fun of him, but there is some similarity:P Especially when he talks.
The interviewer borky?
Sandwich?
Was Danzig in the back watching this?

yeah well can you speak 2 languages fluently, and be familiar with both cultures???
... they.. choose not to come to our shows! HAHAHA... No

He looks like old school Jim Carrey here 😂
Yeah reminiscent of me myself and irene
I think he sounds like Jim Carey
Patton, Bieber and Jim Carrey are all the same ESFP personality and apparently reptilian shapeshifters.
Also, Miley Cyrus is ESFP reptoid.
@@jesseyoungblood6265 😂😳

My friend told me he resembles Justin Bieber in this era (his eyes and moustache) and I can't unsee it 😤😢

Maybe you're just easily offended :-/
bram van splunteren is a kind gentle interviewer who gets fantastic content
James Franco's doppleganger
Michael Bruski ...absolutely fucking not!!!
I'm glad Mike ditched this look. He is so gorgeous, but this look didn't work.
Shelby Gossett lol like he gives a flying shit
