Recently picked up one (ESV black goat as well) -- still amazed over everything it manages to carry *for less than a pound* of weight! Even with the small text, it's very clear and readable (and my eyes are not in the best of shape). I've seen some people on message boards refer to Bibles as "swords." In that respect, the Pitt Minion would be a *kodachi* . . . or a *wakizashi* when paired w/ a *katana* in the form of a Diadem or Wide Margin / Aquila (I'm sticking to the ESV variants from Cambridge), based on physical sizes.
I received a copy of this very Pit Minion Bible as a graduation gift. And while I admit I don't always find God within. I will treasure it for my whole life - Bless you Dad, and rest in peace.
I own a KJV Cameo in brown calf skin. It has tooled lines and it is a paste down. I get what you're saying about the bold print; the print is small but, the bold print makes it pop out more for me. I have an old compact NKJV that I bought back in 07. I imagine that the font size is comparable to the Pitt Minion. It is much harder to read than my Cameo.
Just got my Pitt in esv today! I’m a Schuyler fan, but this is a great little Bible Will be easy to carry to work even smaller than my Schuyler psq in esv If Schuyler would make a Bible this size I’d be sold instantly
The print is small, but extremely readable, and I have bifocals! I just got mine a few days ago. I love it! There’s something about it when you put it in your hands. FYI Cambridge and Nelson both use the Comfort Print from a company in Sweden. It is designed to have the font and spacing so it is extremely enhanced for optimal reading.
One thing I should add, if your having trouble reading the PM, especially at night, change the light bulb in your reading lamp. Go to a craft store and buy a lightbulb called an Ott Light. It’s designed to give you more visibility luke when doing fine cross stitch or knitting dark colors at night. They’re about $15, but they make a world of difference. They just screw into the lamp.
Thanks for the review Colton. I prefer the PSQ for travel. It has an 8.5 font as opposed to about a 6.75 for the Pit. But in fairness your eyes are a lot younger than mine. 😄
I also like the PSQ's and have two of them - one NKJV and the other an NIV. I thought that I wouldn't miss having no concordance in the PSQ, but I do. As a result, my Pitt Minions are still my favorite bibles for church.
May our Lord Jesus Christ bless you brother found you're channel a few days ago praying that the Lord Jesus Christ blesses you and your family. In Christ brother Peter Amen 🙏
@@erickcabello3758 In response to your request for me to pray for you, my question to you is why? Pray what for you? If you refuse to question your own self as to what you so strongly believe against the KJV, what should my prayer be for you? No, rather, I’ll make one more attempt to reach you with truth….a thorough explanation of truth vs lies, purity vs corruption, and believing God vs men. It really is a beautiful Bible. I have the WM, but not the Diadem. Would love to get my hands on one sometime!

I have this one and like it as well. I'm hoping to pick up the Aquila when it comes out and a Diadem. Great review as always.
Thanks Coby! All I lack is the diadem to complete the collection.
As a KJV & NKJV fellow, i recently started reading ESV and got to say love it! GOD Bless

It’s definitely small print. I would love to see a psq in person sometime. Looks like an awesome format for sure!
@@coltonyarbro If you can get your hands on one, I’m sure you would love it. To your point, a great companion to the full size Quentel.

I see you put the Amazon link. Is the pitt minion on Amazon the updated 2016 edition?
I have no way of knowing for sure one way or the other. They do not specify.
@@coltonyarbro is the one you reviewed the 2011?

Why would anything be called a pitt minion for a book name?

The type in this Bible is so small it’s impossible to comfortably read without a magnifying glass. The footnotes are microscopic
It’s small for sure, but also very clear. Opinions on it differ from person to person.
@@coltonyarbro yes, it’s small for sure. I agree
I’m sure not as small as a pocket reference

Looks like a KJO post. From the sections I listened to. Heads up for anyone that wants to avoid that.
