I wonder if this (or something like this) could handle heat and some humidity. I'm looking for something like a small digital whiteboard to put above my deep freezer, where I can make a list of all the items in the deep freezer, the expiration dates, etc. I'd also like it to look at the current date and when something is getting close to 90 days of expiring it'll highlight it in green, 60 days of expiring it'll highlight it in yellow, when it's 30 days of expiring orange and when it's expired highlight it in red. Also, some sort of check off/adding system, so when something is removed, it'll take it off the list, or if something is added, it's added to the list. This way you'd have an inventory at a glance when you go shopping... better yet, it'd be nice if you can have it to add staple items to your shopping list once you get down to x level ... or even where you can access the same list when you're at the grocery store.
Another nice feature would be where you can see a log of the temp inside the freezer, preferably without a wire coming out of the freezer (bluetooth maybe??), so you can see what the temp is, and a record of the temp so you can see if it's went above freezing, etc.

Sweet dashboard setup. I went to access the "Rasberry pi imager" link in your written guide and it says I don't have access to your notion? Tip on what to do?

So many of these MM videos spend way to much time on installing the tv on the wall and not enough time on the important part to make this work. Without showing how to do this in less than an hour as you suggest, I found this video pretty worthless. Looks cool though.

Agreed. I didn’t search “mounting a tv to the wall” because that’s not what I’m interested in. My search terms: “how to make touchscreen calendar app”

Great video, and awesome guidelines. I want to set something like this up for my elderly mother-in-law's bedroom so she can see things at a glance (like day/date/time, notes like "we're gone to the store, be back at 11am," and other personalized info. My question - is this something that can be updated or changed easily or quickly (preferably from an Android phone using an app)? Also, can you make these personalized notes in large text so that she can see them from the other side of her room (I'd expect so)?

I did see that google updated their nest hubs to allow for "sticky notes". But I have my bedside nest hub show me the my calendar and weather and a few other things when I wake up.
I have been thinking about making a "mourning routine" video but the concept is basically the same.

I really want to set this up. How do you set it up that the screen doesn't go black after 15 minutes. I would like to set it up to 24/7 or schedule it for when the screen is on and when it turns off.

I am! The only thing I changed was the backlight. Check out my Hyperion vs Govee video for more info about that. We’re moving into our new house on Monday and I actually was thinking if I would change anything else I would change. I have some cool smart home ideas, but overall I think my idea will mostly stay the same.
