"Everything in the future is hexagons" If we could be sure of one thing about the future, it's this. It's funny how much sci-fi uses hexagons, 45 angles and whatnot to signify "future" :p.
Leatherworker here.... that leather paint will flake off eventually, I'm sure that will be fine somewhat for a weathered look, but if you were looking for it to stay much more permanent, you'd need to apply a deglazer to the area first, to take the clear finish off, then apply the paints.

Hey Bill and all at punished props. You might not see this but I just wanted to let you know that you guys have had the biggest influence on my life this last year and I have come out of my creative shell a lot more. Looking forward to finishing my costume for a con next year, not sure which one just yet though. Thank you for the awesome videos and i can’t wait to see what you guys come out with in the future :)
Followed your method of making those Exo Robotic gloves. Turned out so well, I managed to make every exo finger piece for every one of my fingers. Can't believe its just cable ties with some foam and painting. You're a life saver!
Lol, the intro brought back memories. My English teacher caught me reading a Batman & Robin comic I had tucked into my textbook back in elementary school; totally got busted. I guess I showed too much interest.
I actually started to seriously start cosplaying and designing after I found your videos! I had been wanting to make props and costumes for awhile, but wasn't sure how to start, or where to go, and then I discovered your channel! So thank you so much for being awesome

I'm older now but it is sooo cool to see that others with even more skill and imagination like yourself are carrying these tendencies forward. Actually makes me want to try something like this again next year. Maybe I'll do an older Solo with the armor paneled longcoat, some sort of ocular piece, some "plugs" and a couple of cool looking tools. Plus, a Bigazz pistol from Militech with a cyberblade for my back. If you were hoping to inspire with your vid, then mission accomplished chomba. Thanks so much for posting this up.
Too well done for questions. I would love to see you guys make: A) a Bendy and the Ink Machine "Pipe Wrench" B) a top hat that actually looks legit (vs Halloween Alley kind) and then steampunk it C) What you would do for a Klondike Bar
Really digging all the "quick and easy" mod builds lately. Good reminder that you don't have to go ALL IN every time and can still have something great to wear.
Very cool build. As a tip for future glove/clothing modification, use a hot knife to cut nylon webbing/thread - it will melt the edges and prevent them from fraying and coming apart. A pistol grip soldering gun with a knife tip works very well for this.
You know the video is so good to watch, your style very relaxed and informative. Checking the description you've put so much work into adding links to info and items, it's simply outstanding. You set the bar high. Thank you. Is that paint on the tshirt washable?
