#PunishedProps - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
9:14 when Bill cuts 4 layers better then you can cut 1 single one .
A knife master...foam ninja! 🗡️⚔️
AmasonCreations I noticed that too and wanted to see if anyone said anything
Instablaster.
near the end of an extended shoot, when boredom and tiredness are setting in , she remembers the tiny detail. Don't forget the knob! I hope Brittany gets paid what she's worth!
25:13 That sanity meter........😂😂
"This prop won't have any gingivitis... thank goodness." XD
Amazing build, it looks amazing (and cavity free)!
Hah! Always a bonus! Thanks so much for watching :)
My favorite part in any project is exactly what you said! I love when the main components are finally together so I can start playing with it!
Whammer - Whack me up before you gogo :)
Haaa!
Don't leave me hammering on like a yo-yo.
That turned out great!!! I especially love the chipped yellow paint!
Love it, all the wierd wires and the belt makes it look so nice.
So cool! I would probably put some sort of "set screw" in the two pieces to make sure they stay together. If you get too "enthusiastic", I can see you shooting the end of it across the room! lol
That may have happened before! :D th-cam.com/video/uOqN-LJ-nE4/w-d-xo.html
It’s a feature
your videos are always so fascinating, somehow i find them calming... maybe it’s the sound of the drills and foam lol
jabba the cut 🤣🤣
Nice!!!! I kinda want to see the guys from "Man at Arms Reforged" make a real functioning version of this......
The Whammer. I actually LOL'd. That is so clever. I love it.
Thank you Bobby! =)
i really love the idea of the whammer. should be a superhero weapon. put cables in the detachable part and make it like a grappling hook, and a switch blade at the handle part to make it a dual wield weapon
I feel like you just wanted to make a sci-fi keyblade and used cyberpunk as the excuse. Its very nice!
it never hit me how much your bandsaw really makes a difference with foam until you cut those huge thick bolts.
Thank you Britt! Very coo!
Love one days builds! Well Done great step by step - also I keep forgetting to make things luggage friendly this build really stuck with me how you did that so simply.
The lack of push-stick for the bandsaw makes me twitchy every time!
I'm glad it's not just me that twitches then.
Check out some pictures of the build, as well as links to the tools and materials used, on our website: punishedprops.com/2018/11/26/cyberpunk-weapon/
I always get inspired while watching you build something.
i cant wait for Cyberpunk 2077
Oh my goodness me neither!
Amazing how good this looks in such a short time.
That demo of reverse on the foredom is the best argument for upgrading from my dremel I've seen yet. Still not sold on the upgrade but its now on my "someday" list whereas before I didn't see the point based on the duty cycles I put my dremel through and how well it met my needs.
Nice one! Love it!
Man Punished Props, you guys rock! Your one day build, 2 weeks for us non geniuses. 😉
It comes down to planning, practice, and acquiring handy tools over time :)
Totally rad.
Thank you!
This turned out so cool Bill!! I love design and the reveal was AWESOME!
Thanks so much!
Super cool!! Like it!!!💖
I love the total lack of internal continuity in these videos. The completed Whammer is shown in the costume build video, and the completed costume is shown in the Whammer build video. Go Internets!
The detail is insane
Thank you!
Only me that loves that yeeeeee sound he makes?🤣🤣
Pneumatic actuator instead of a motor to push the bottom tooth up, hooked to a co2 cartridge and pistol grip blower thing would make it have some movement. Really cool thing.
Some good use of the 1,2,3 blocks lol hahaha! Fun video to watch!
Another awesome one day build. You guys rock!!
Thanks! =D
By the way I like how much this channel answers comments!
your tools must really love you and the foam
You really “Nailed” this build
Badumtsss
Great build. The Whammer would fit perfectly with a Necromunda (Warhammer world tabletop skirmish game) cosplay as well. The Goliath Gangers use repurposed industrial tools as weapons.
Necromunda! I haven't thought about that in 20+ years. Good call.
Those little bits on his temple should connect a visor like Laforge's visor Y'know, like in star trek the next generation.
if you want to make the belt fit, you could replace the bottom threads with a gear teeth going around it and make an additional support piece for the bottom of the thread attached to the central piece like a tension relief for the belt.
This build was very fun and interesting to watch.
Thanks so much!
You are killing me. Gun after knife after gun always weathered in rust... You finally make a tool, and you weather it WITHOUT rust...
It looks great though and it’s his choice
Epic Win Brit!
I love the Whammer. I need one for my mecha Tech!
HA! Yeah ya do!
amazing!
Thanks so much!
Such a cool concept of a weapon. Looks really cool, And I like that wire tip! thanks as always for the great tips ^^
You're most welcome!
Thanks for Sharing
You're most welcome!
I literally just tried the toothpaste chipping method yesterday. So far, it's turned out great! Much better than just painting the "chipped effect" on the surface.
Thanks for the really cool video. Enjoyed the little bloopers and shenanigans (my favorite part about Punished Props' videos - more silly please! lol). Also, video editing quality is spot on.
So glad you're having fun! Our goal is to keep Making fun, always :)
That was awesome.
Thanks!
Your welcome.
I didn't get a notification for this one, glad i saw it on the channel!
How very ratchet and clank of you! Looks good
That's the first thought that went through my head when I saw the thumbnail
Dark cloud? No? Ok...
Was exactly why I even CAME to this video! I saw the thumnail, and thought 'Cyberpunk?? That looks to ME more like Ratchet's Omniwrench!'... Of course, when I reviewed the Omniwrench 8000, I realized how different it was (pointing straight out rather than to the side)...
Props to masterninjason: The Drillwrench or Sigma Breaker from Dark Cloud 2 are also potential callbacks to the 'Everything in One' tool concept. Nice call.
That Toothpaste trick, *Mind Blown*
This could double as 1 of the tools the citizens of Fortuna in Warframe use.
Very cool prop. If you want to have twisted pairs of wire, measure twice the length you would like for two strands of wire, clamp one end of them together, run them parallel two each other and place the other end into the chuck of a drill, tighten the chuck, them slowly run the drill until the wires are completely twist together.
Awesome as always bill 🤘🏻
Thanks!
It kinda looks like a keyblade ! So cool 👌🏼
Wow i love your content and this is an example why.
Why thank you!
@@punishedprops Your welcome just love your videos
10/10 Would Wham.
Wham!
Great build Bill. I love your jaw texture!
Thanks so much! =D
Extraordinary!!! 😨😨😨😵😵👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks!
Ooh, ooh! I have a thread trick for you! To keep your threads nice and even, use 2 identical strips and lay them down right next to each other. But, only glue one of them and remove the other when you're done. That way the spacing between turns remains very even and precise looking, like it was machined, but it didn't take any longer!
The handle kinda reminds me of the Shishkebab from Fallout 4. I haven't even started watching, and I already know it's gonna be amazing!
It totally does! I need to work on my Sheshkebab...
Nice Keyblade Bill
I've been wanting to make a Kingdom Hearts Key-blade for ages and this has given me some ideas of how to go about it :D thanks.
Wonderful! Share what you make with us on Twitter: twitter.com/chinbeard
27:10 your face....brilliant!
Is it weird that I get excited when I see my favourite shade of yellow? (yes, that is definitely weird)
Tooth paste is the best mask in my opinion, cheap and effective.
An additional bit of weathering would be a grease or oil around the large screw holding the jaws.
Great idea!
The hammer
The whammer
The whimmer
The whamhammer
The wimmerwammer
The wizety whamms
The whems
The wemmer
The wymer
The wvmmer
SO MANY COOL NAMES
Your builds see so cool
Thanks!
Iv been watching his channel 4 5 hours straight
not sure if anyone said it, but Hair Spray + Fuller's Earth works wonders! Also, awesome build Bill!
Great tip, thanks!
Nice! I was hoping this would get a build video as well
We film evvvverything! =)
Gonna have to use this vid to lift together
I really like this! Kinda wanna try my hand at making a 3d model for this/similar to this.
Everything in a Dystopian future needs to have exposed wires, caution tape and or Nuclear warning symbols, kind of mandatory really. Reminds me a bit of a super sledge from Fallout. Great work as always Bill!
Yes exactly! =D
I started my one-day prop a week ago.
It happens that way sometimes! Keep working and you'll still have an awesome finished prop!
Haha, the 123 block still has the heat blued corner from when you had to blow-torch the molten pewter off it.
HAHA! YUP. You remembered! =D
*something about this being breath taking due to people taking the cyper punk E3 too seriously and Im just being jealous since I cant work on props since Im moving out.*
Hmmm.... one day build 👌
I can't build this at 10 day. Congrats!
Thx brit
I am a foam smith and all I have is Eva foam and some tools. I don’t even have any pvc pipe!
Nananananananana jAAAEEGEEER
Just One Day Builds with Savage-Bill.
We Fortuna now.
Man, now I want to make a Solaris United wrench.
You two probably couldn't keep a straight face if your life depended on it xD
The whammer turned out fantastic, especially considering the time frame! The chipped paint jaws are my favourite part, it is incredible what you can do with paint. ^^
WRAMMER!!
HAA! I like it. =)
The Whammer looks great!
The only minor (personal taste) improvement I'd suggest is dirtying up the pipe a bit, that bright shiny metallic look doesn't exactly match the rest of the build, but even with that it was a great video and cool prop.
Great suggestion!
It's awesome to see those one-day builds. And making a real something out of lots of little bits of nothing feels so good :-)
Your one-day videos encouraged me to still build my own weapon (a medieval axe in my case) even though I was short on time and material - Thanks for that.
If you're interested in giving some feedback, it's on my channel with a few more items you might recognise..
Keep creating!
Your axe is good, but whammer is better.
but your war hammer is good too
And because my brain works at trying to make things more functional looking, I have some changes for you. Mount the motor further down to where the belt disc aligns below the screw shaft and add a pulley wheel to the screw shaft that the belt goes around. Also add air vents to the motor housing for cooling.
It looks like a keyblade!
Must be nice to be a kid FOREVER.
Hey Bill, are there any ways you've found to get sharper edge/corner/seam on EVA foam pieces? Particularly on things normally made of metal like scifi armor. It might just be a limitation of the material, but I've always felt like foam creates softer lines and gives pieces a slightly cartoony look to them rather than a realistic one. Keep up the great work!
nice keyblade
Hah! It totally does feel like a keyblade
You guys should sell a tool kit that everyone who makes cosplay stuff needs
Can you guys do a "Mortal Engines" inspired build please?
Preferably with more respect for the source that the fucking film.
Hey have ya ever thought about slush casting with some sort of metal, like aluminum; other low temp melt metals. Would that make a piece of armor possibly too heavy due to the thickness of it?
Why is your torch so much bigger than mine?
Are you using midknight nitrile gloves? I love the textured finger tips.
What are the gloves your wearing? They are soo cool!
