Your videos bring me home. I spent 6 months in Honduras and it changed me for ever. I always tell people that as Americans our whole lifestyle is a privilege. The fact that I can eat meat everyday and that food is easily accessible for me is such a big privilege. We take so much for granted. I'll be extra grateful today for the bed that I sleep in. You're amazing.

Everyone is struggling, and still manages to help each other in the community. When everyone is broke... no one sees each other as competition. But people have to realize that LIFE is not a competition. Life is about surviving, being compassionate, and helping others.
This apartment complex is just like that everyone pitched in and helps. When it’s a kids bday they all pitch in to make sure there’s at least cake and food to celebrate

I love how open the parents are with their kids. I understand that children should have childhoods and I hope and pray that they last as long as they can. By being transparent though these parents are letting their kids know what life is really like and the kids can understand and appreciate the sacrifices their parents go through to give them even the smallest of things
