Why are they making people work without a day off at all and 14 hour days. The owner does not work there?? It makes no sense get 2people and split days and hours are they paid 1.25 per hour??
Anytime I need a wake up call and to realize just how lucky I am, I watch one of these videos and I see people who really struggle and work hard for very little money. It is a wake up call for sure.

People's faith keeps them going it is only stable thing in there lives. I have friends also who grew up no running water or indoor toilet ate a lot of rice small wood house sharing bed with 2 sisters. their faith is so strong that God gives what they can bare.

They have little but they are so thankful for it. It really puts my life in perspective. She was right, most people pray when things are bad, then forget God when things are good. I’m guilty of that. There’s so much love between them. Truly they are rich, because having a family, love, someone to share life with, is a treasure.
When I saw the faith that this woman had I was so glad that she had so much faith in God this is one of the best families that I have seen that actually are living peaceful and are not going through too many struggles with food or housing Even though it is a struggle for the father but that's just life I guess.

The government there is now has driven people out by the thousands and totally ruined the economy and he does not care. People lose their lives walking a month or move no shelter no food no money sleeping whole families on the street. They cross rivers and some drown it's so so bad and did not have to be like that.😊

It's illegal to recieve that salary for that much work. The basic salary here is 400 usd working only 8 hours a week. For me is really awful to see how in my country people take advantage of inmigrants to pay them less of what they deserve. I think everybody forgot that Ecuadorians went to Europe, scaping from a crisis too and we complained of what they had to go through and now we do the same???!!! What the hell is wrong with this people!!!!
En el 2020 el sueldo básico era $400 más remuneración adicional $66,66. Total $466,66 y aparte las horas extras, pero hay malos y abusivos empresas que no pagan lo que dice la ley y el Estado no controla. Pero también hay buenas empresas que pagan lo justo .
Layla Clarke it really depends. I’ve been building small food carts for them. What I do is I custom build their food cart, buy all the food necessary, a month or two worth of groceries and pay their rent 3 months in advance so they can have room to build clientele. Or if they have land I will buy them 100+ chickens or different animals so they can sell eggs. Same thing. On average is around $1000-$15000 for a small business

I see the lack of sexual education, the crisis in Venezuela has been going on for years and those children are young, it is not convenient to have children if you do not have the conditions to support them, anyway I hope they improve their quality of life, sadly many Ecuadorians do not even have jobs and live in worse conditions than theirs, I hope they get ahead.

I know they arent doing AS BAD as the families youre helping now but even $250 would probably make a world of difference for them, let this man take the bus to work, maybe afford a day off if his boss will let him❤

Ecuador is suffering in silence, we are the 3rd country most likely to go bankrupt in South America, the reason I had to immigrate.

Have you ever went back to them to give the father a scooter for travel? I know you do that often now to help people not pay for taxi/bus fair.
