Interesting that you got an owner's manual. I just bought an F-150 Lariat and picked it up yesterday. It was built January 2023 and does not come with an owner's manual. It will cost me over $30 plus shipping to approximately $40 total if I want a hard copy. Full owner's manual. Thank you for the information in here and it's a great video.
Thanks I appreciate the feedback. Yeah, the owners manual is on the infotainment system and if you go into the app for starting, you can go to the service button, scroll down to reference guide and the owners manual is there also. I love a hard copy but since it's in the other two places, I'm okay without it.
You can also google the manual for the year of your vehicle, and there should be a link to download as a .pdf file which can be printed on both sides of a sheet of paper (may have to size the printout to get two manual pages per side which is very readable and for 2024 manual and doing this it comes out to around 200 pages or about one inch of paper on 8.5" x 11" paper), maybe this will save you some money.
I had no idea that hidden air dam existed until I hit a rubber trash can doing 80 on the freeway. When I got home, I looked for damage and that's when I "discovered" it. One of the motors was broken. I took it off and it's been sitting in my garage ever since 😂
2021 Ford F 150 King Ranch here. After calling Ford tech support I found out there is no option to do walkaway lock. Its only available on the Lightning and E Mustang. Is there any way they will do an over the air update for this? If not does the Forscan program have an option to add this? I find it quite helpful that when I'm in the store I wonder did I or didn't I lock it??? Second, In the morning when I activate remote start and walk up to the truck with fob in pocket it will deploy the running boards , bring the mirrors out but not unlock the doors? Seems odd It may be a moot point as I have to use the door handle to get in anyway so that would unlock the truck . It might be handy though if my hands were full to put my gear and briefcase in the rear passenger compartment with an unlocked door.
I am watching this again and was wondering if you could help with answering a couple questions. First when i get a phone call my digital display in front of the steering wheel automatically goes to my recent calls. I jave to manually push one of the arrows on my steering wheel to go back. Kind of annoying. Second, The only app that shows info on my screen is music playlist. I've seen other vehicles if someone's playing safer instance an audiobook, the info shows. I was wondering if there's a way to make other apps show that are compatible?
I appreciate you checking this out. As for the first question, I'm not sure there is a way to change the phone call issue. Mine does that and it is annoying. those screen are not configurable for one to change. The second question, if it's in regards to android auto or apple car play. those are configured through the phone setup as to what they display and favorites. I've messed with android auto some (we all have android in the fam), but not carplay. Other than that the Sync system isn't much more configurable and the apps you can get through the sync icon are very simple and not much there either. Hope this helps.
I can’t stand the honk when I get out and leave it running. I have to turn off the truck in the morning if I need to get out to scrape. Where is the video on how to kill this setting?
Definitely some features I didn’t know about! Still driving my 2012 and it for sure doesn’t have any of those features…

On my '24, it's a bit annoying that I can only read the owner's manual in Sync 4 if the engine is on... very strange.
that lighter cigarette port is now a fuse on the 24s models

How do you get to the zone lighting in the app?
I'm not seeing that feature either.
with engine running & fob with u when u get out, leave door open 👉no horn
I didn’t get an owners manual. I hate the digital copies.
Does you're truck say welcome to united states or mexico etc.. when entering them??
After filing a complaint with my state attorney general’s office of consumer protection, I got an owner’s manual for my 2023 F150. No cost.
