Hello Jeff - just found you (liked and subscribed) from southern NJ, I too bank fish a lot with a little spare time for LGM Bass, I have a canoe, but trailering it up takes more time than I have at the end of most days when i can go out ....so I bank fish. Amazing advice on bringing shorter rods. I have been bringing 7 foot to 7foot 6 rods when I go - usually 3 to 4 rigs. Never thought to go back to my under 6' 8" stuff, so I wind up getting in the water to clear brush and trees behind me on the bank. That just has to disturb the fish close by.
Questions if you have time: what baitcasting setup is seen in this video and what state do you do most of your bass fishing from

The baitcasting setup I used was the Googan Go To Casting rod paired with a Shimano SLX DC 7:3:1. I’ve in NY, and now that I think about it I have never fished outside of NY State😂.
