The best and scariest thing happened to me. I was listening to this, and I got to the part near the end where Spamton laughs. But right as he started, my computer crashed blue screened, causing the music the glitch out before eventually turning into a monotonous drone. It was so perfectly timed, but GOD if it didn't scare that crap out of me!
This song is honestly such a perfect fit for Spamton especially with how the middle "not very long ago.." section is preying on nostalgia to "sell" the internet, something Spamton almost certainly would do.
I feel like the nostalgia thing matches Spamton not because he would use it to "sell" the internet, but it fits Spamton's tendency to live in the past, when he was a [BIG SHOT].
I was disappointed that it wasn't discord for like..a second, and then was immediately elated it was a cover of this song, your singing and editing is great dude

Spoilers for Undertale below: If you kill everyone except for Mettaton, in the neutral ending, Sans will call you and tell you that Mettaton basically took over the underground by... glamour rather than force. Keep in mind, Mettaton is an entertainer, not a ruler. This means that his idea of a perfect world is one covered by glitters and entertainment, rather than one that deals with the real problems, like educating children. You can essentially do anything in Mettaton's world, because entertainment outclasses everything, and if you're entertained, then that's all you need to be. The song is about how the internet can let you do a scary amount of things and be enveloped in entertainment forever. The internet has grown into a constant stream of all things that can interest you, and the song even says itself: "If none of it's of interest to you, you'd be the first." I think Mettaton's world and the song's view of the internet are quite alike. I mean, after all... "Could I interest you in everything, all of the time? A bit of everything, all of the time? Apathy's a tragedy and boredom is a crime Anything and everything All of the time?"
You know, I discovered this song and fell in love with it right before DR Ch 2 came out... And Spamton became my favorite character soon after... Basically what I'm saying is, funny internet song fits funny internet garbage man. (And you did a good job singing in his voice!)

It's pretty good, and the song fits Spamton, but I feel like this cover is missing... some of the depth, the emotion of the original. It's there, but it's lacking. Otherwise, still pretty good.
