Mind Burns Alive Lyrics:
A glaze of sweat
And kerosene
Will glisten like the rain
I’ve pored across
The burnings thoughts
To find the only way
That I can let you know
A proclamation of the the pain
The searing brand
Inside my head
So firmly held in place
My mind has ignited
I can feel it burning down
Watch and wonder
As the embers glow
If my flame has been put out
The graceful notes
The sacred smoke
Will soon perfume the air
I will run to you
As final proof
How deeply that I care
To put every wrong to right
You need a sacrificial lamb
Shades of orange and red
Leaping out of my head
Encompass what I am

When I first heard this album I didn't like it at all. Then the second listen I suddenly loved it. And I am in love with this song🥰
that happens a lot. sometimes we arent in the mood for how great things can be to us
Didn't like it at all...considered not giving it another listen. So glad I hung in there, it's so good!
Their best album since Foundations of Burden.
This track starts like Alice In Chains, then turns LOW, and finally explodes like... Pallbearer.
Hail from Ireland. Been on repeat this week, starting to unearth the melodies and hooks!
I found y'all back in 2014 when "Foundations of Burden" came out. This is going to be cliche, but that album changed things for me and I've been a devoted listener to all your guys' stuff ever since. Can't explain what your music has done for me. And this new album is no different. Incredible, as always. Thank you.
Long time Pallbearer fan and this is their best album yet. This song fucks!
The whole album is a masterpiece
I dunno, for me it's their worst LP, boring af
This band can do no wrong and they are growing before our very ears. The new album is beautiful and crushing. They are doom personified. Can’t wait to hear these tracks live!
I love pallbearer brett campbell is wonderfull guitarist singer songwritter and beautyfull human love this group rock on ❤😊🤟🤟
Shoot I’m gonna be late to work because I had to watch this…worth it 🤘
Beautiful
Very trippy video ! Love the song and especially the tender parts. Not what Pallbearer have accustomed us to, in a great way ✌
🤘🤘
DALE DOOM Pallbearer! Enormes!
Saw you guys in Chicago, Thali Hall years ago. You're still one of my all time favorite Doom bands. Congrats on the album 🤘🏽
What an album!!! The solo in this song made me weep like a baby when I heard it the first time yesterday, such a release of emotions!
Same!
Same here. It didn’t hit me until after a few listens but I honestly think I partially blocked out the solo in the first listen because it was so emotional it was almost jarring and I wasn’t ready for it.
@@jordmcnary it’s such special moment isn’t it !! What a special album
Which solo? I feel the same when the very simplistic solo comes in.. at the end. Love this song sooo much
@@Furzmichel79 yeah the crazy bends towards the end ? That’s awesome too, I mean the main one that sounds like a synth.
I saw the end vibes to me....I love it,
Epic Pallbearer!
What a great time to be alive!
😍 love video, good song, best band!
Kept waiting for one of you guys to do a kickflip, but it never came. Still, a great song. Congrats on the new album!
Awesome! See you guys in AZ when ya'll come through.
Awesome like always
🤟 From South Africa! 🤘🤘🤘
Love it!!! Great work!
You have evolved again, congrats. Love the new songs.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great new tune Pallbearer!
🤘🤘🤘
🌸⚰🌼
When that final guitar solo hits, its like the ghost of Peter Steele has entered the room.
The dude from spotlights mixed this
Saw them open up.for Pallbearer
Great show.
Mix in incredible ! What kind of band is spotlights ?
@@mlrdmn great band from Brooklyn New York
3 piece
Guitarist is married to the bassist
There in Pittsburgh now if I'm not mistaken
The band has a great sound
And he also records and produces his own band as well
Good song!!!
The first Minute is the best of the song. This is absolutly ultra. Then its too slow and the Great Melody from the beginning doesnt come back.
glad I'm not the only one who thought so
Waiting for the Amazon driver to bring a little happiness to my prison cell as we speak...
This video gives huge 90's vibes. Inspired by the video to 'Stars' from Hum?
Perhaps maybe ;) just a small bit
Good eye 👍🏻
am I crazy or is the mix on this different than on the album? maybe just youtube compression idk
It might be just youtube, it sounds wildly different on flac
00:12 Very good..
Alice In Chains vibes amazing
Brett is starting to look a little like Nick Offerman as he ages
Damn. Welp. Guess im gonna move it over to spotify, because now I cant unsee it.
Sorry to be that guy but this album just isn't doing it for me. I've really enjoyed this band since their beginning and have always anticipated each following release including this one.
Honestly, it's just kind of flat to me and I'll probably get shit on for saying it but I suppose I expected more from the band. It's easily softer than the previous albums and the riffs lack the punch they once had. Perhaps with a few more spins it'll grow on me but for now it just feels a little weak compared to the other material. Even the album cover isn't very interesting unlike prior covers.
I felt the same, but I think it's their second best now xD
