it's actually both frustrating and easy at the same time. BF1 tanks are extremely powerful, yet they are the clumsiest tanks- if you are cought off guard you are pretty much scrap metal, with a slow painful death.
but if you are in a good position or a good momentum, you utterly dominate and it's almost impossible to counter you.
BF4 tanks feel more balanced, they are less powerful, there are more anti tank options but all the vehicles are more nimble - so the infantry vs tanks gameplay feels properly balanced.
BFV tanks are constrained by the supply mechanics, otherwise they are in between BF1 and BFV, which is why they feel the most awkward- never powerful enough to push through like BF1 tanks and never maneouverable enough like BF4 tanks.

@@Silverswitch1 anti-tank guns were highly effective. handheld anti-tank weapons were far less so. to take out a tank with a bazooka would require a very good shot at close range. a tiger, for instance, would need to be hit in the thin armour on the roof, under the belly, or on the lower sides. from the front and at range, tank armour was highly effective. if bf5 were more realistic, tanks would be far more durable from the front and where armour is thick and angled, but could be killed in a single hit to the sides or to a weak point. the idea of a 88mm tiger or a 76mm sherman taking 4 shots to kill a tank at close range is comical.

@@wizzzer1337 actually I heard they(my friends) done this when jet was attacking them but I'm not sure if I remember this part correctly but I remember they did it not sure how many times but I think they said atleast twice so well sometimes it's possible but definetely hard because once with other friend we tried doing it with mbt law and before friend could lock-on into my laser/signal jet already was behind us....so well.....

I gotta say, the end of round theme for the Solomon Islands when the Americans win is by far the best.
Battlefield 5 is easily my favorite game of the bunch to play tanks in. not too fast paced, but not to slow either. also, many more tanks to choose from. I do wish that the shell velocity and drop were changed, but it's still extremely satisfying once you get the hang of things.
I agree, many tanks, specializations, and the fact that ammo is not infinite, and so far, the best tank battles

11:55 that's why I'd always flank the enemy tank as an FT17, you're more maneuverable than the other tanks and can get behind them fairly easily instead of just sitting there and taking the shots.

those games make battlefield tanking look ridiculous.
That's interesting, in its own arcady-casual universe all of the tanks fulfil their role and stereotypes they have in real life. The tanks in BF1 were mighty machines that had not the sights of the modern tanks or even proper tank optics so it wasn't always accurate. in Battlefield V the tank combat has a much slower approach and some parts can be damaged like the turret or tracks. Also, you aren't as mobile as a modern MBT. In Battlefield 4 you have the whole arsenal of modern weaponry and also the manoeuvrability they have in real life.
I like very much how diverse the games are, making them so unique on their own.

It's surprisingly amazing how fun is to play as a tanker at BFV. The Tiger is a beast.
The thing I like over battlefield 4 is you can choose the type of tank you want in BF1 and BFV like if you want a light tank, medium or heavy you can take it hope BF6 has that option

panzerkampf is about the battle of kursk which included a lot of tanks but isn't necessarily only about tanks
@@sodsurendunkhorol1576yes, but Panzerkampf is also more about tank battles than Ghost Division. So it fits really well into tank battles in BFV
Taking in bf1 is just crazy because you really feel like you are driving a heavy machine of destruction (as long as you are not an Artillery truck main that just hides on spawn like a coward)

For BFV, I think the game had some good sounds, physics, and animations for vehicles like tanks and airplanes. I just thought the ground combat and weapons weren't very good or fun to use, but the vehicles in 5 are my favorite of any game.

When on the German team I loved driving the tiger tank. Especially the sound that it's gun made when it fired.
Also you should shoot at the tank’s tracks in BFV because it does the most damage when in a one on one tank fight up front

@@rdr2fan46 Because in operations there’s a bomber that screws half the team and on the frontline you can’t push because everyone throws grenades at you; conquest is kinda suitable but every other player has a mortar on the edge of the map

My favourite stuff to do is capturing enemy tanks, and use them against the same type. Pure satisfaction winning a Tiger vs Tiger fight. Gosh, I love tanking.

The best thing I can recommend you is to get your tiger upgraded to full with AP mines Included. And definitely get a flamethrower on your Sherman, is comes in handy so much. Especially on Iwojima-breakthrough during the cave section-easy 30 kills+
The Panzer IV is super fun once you unlock AP mines, being surrounded by anti-armour infantry is so frustrating until you get it

To be honest tanking in BF1 is op and annoying at the same time because you can get lots of kills from it but if somebody goes behind or on top of you , you have to rely on your teammates in the tank to kill them but if you don’t have any teammates near by you can’t do anything u less you get out the tank and become vulnerable
shooting an attack heli in bf4 as a mbt (main battle tank) is a golden moment i'v learned from expierienc by shooting one in gulf of oman in the sandstorm

Video Recommendation: Playing as a Sniper Team in Different Battlefield Games
You and a friend play as a 2-man long range sniper team. The 2 players have different roles
Spotter: You must use binoculars or a spotting scope and can only fire your handgun.You also are allowed to use flares but they aren't mandatory.
Sniper: The sniper is only allowed to kill targets marked by the spotter, unless you they are forced into a CQC situation. The sniper can use any sniper or anti-material rifle of their choice (must have a sniper scope) and a handgun. the sniper can't equip any gadgets
How to win BFV as germans all the time:
Step 1: Get a bunch of points
Step 2: purchase the Propane launcher tank
Step 3: Camp near a resuply and spam
Step 4: Profit
Step 5: have a mental breakdown as 25+ people yell at you.
The vehicle combat in BFV is hands down the best
I have one detail from battlefield 1 that is so obscure. If you pick up a plane you shoot at the little blimps that are in the map they suddenly explode

The most skilled required tank in BF1 is the Artillery truck, is mostly a glass cannon, and you are literally the target of every plane and horse, you have to know how to evade them fuckers very well.

I once got a 27 kill streak in an M4 Sherman on Iwo Jima in BFV. I was camping at the bottom of the ridge and just kept killing everyone that popped up on the ridge. Killed as many as I could before I had to abandon the tank due to no ammo. Got sniped as soon I got out.
Normal shotguns: 12.7mm the exact same size as a .50 bullet
tank shotgun: *125mm filled with shrapnel*

Nah I think BF5 did the tanks the best because there’s a lot of depth to it. You can mess up your enemies tracks, their turret ring, the tank guns use their irl gun scopes, I dunno it just feels good man. Angling armor works,armor thickness mattered, etc
