All this rubbish people generally say about the supposedly fantastic Es335 🤦♂️. I bought one and let’s just say this Gretsch sounds much better. Nice review.
Gibson or the Epiphone “Inspired by?”
The Gibson is just way too expensive if you ask me and the Epiphone falls a little short of the Gretsch in my experience.
@@continentalaquatics2725 i was thinking of getting the es335 Gibson but it was way too expensive I settled for a semi hollow Gretsch with filtertrons and this p90 g2522, and saved like 3 grand LOL
The pickups sound fantastic! I found a set and installed them in a different guitar and they are amazing!
i can't stop listenting to 1:43 and onward, waiting for mine to come in the mail, played a few similar models at my local shop but they didn't have this exact one so I ordered it and am just watching your demo over and over and I'm gonna try to jam it out the same way when she arrives!!! awesome demo

Is this G2622T-P90 all original out of the box? I have the exact model in this video and love the sound.I guess most of the sound comes from the pedal magic going on.

That middle position sounds great, kind of a thick quack, would sound good playing some Dire Straits…
The P90’s (touted as single coil?)or the Humbuckers that come standard???
So what's the difference between the streamliner line and Electromatic, they are both roughly the same price maybe 100 dollar difference in price?
Main difference is the pickups though the finishes vary. These P90 versions are also distinguished by oval inlays where the humbucker equipped guitars have the more traditional big block inlays. The body wood here is eastern mahogany while maple is more common. Necks, pick-guards, knobs, fret wires, logos and so on vary from model to model. All can be had with Bigsby or hard tail. Lefties are more limited. The shape and feel (to me) are about the same for Electromatics and Streamliners.
Can you confirm that upper fret access is much better on the G2655 than on the G2622 ?

I've played the 22 and you want get into to top end of fretboard. 55 will allow this. I want two. The mellowness off 22 but upper fret access on 55. I think 55 has bit more bite and punch
