I got the midnight sapphire one and it has become my favorite guitar. Coming from a strat and sg not having a bevel for your picking arm took a bit to get used to but I got there. I couldnt explain how it compares to my sg and strat without several pages but this demo did a pretty good job of it. I personally use a boost pedal to bump up the treble and the bass sometimes and go into my orange micro terror dark and that's it.
Great demo! I’m ordering the G2622T-P90 (similar, but bigger body) on Friday and your video just seriously boosted my excitement. It’ll be my first guitar with P90s and from what I’ve heard of these Fidelisonic pickups I know I won’t regret my purchase.
Damn, that was some nice tasty playing. I'm hesitating between the epiphone uptown kat and that Gretsch with p90. You're playing definitely put that guitar back in the race ha!
First person I've seen on TH-cam playing a Gretsch standing up. How's the balance? I've heard they can be neck heavy with the strap pin in that position
I have the midnight sapphire version and haven't had an issue with it and use a regular strap. Granted I'm not taking my hands off the guitar, cause I'm playing it, so not sure how it would be in that situation. It is incredibly light and I think my acoustic is heavier than it.
The Edge from U2 uses a couple of Country Gentleman examples on certain songs (“Magnificent” & “City of Blinding Lights” are two songs that immediately come to mind) and he uses a ‘59 White Falcon on “All I Want is You” and “One Tree Hill.” They obviously have an extensive catalog and a handful of songs isn’t the best example, but I’m sure there are more songs and players I’m not immediately remembering.
No talking just playing. Brother you play a mean guitar! Nice work!
Dang man. Sounds incredible. Awesome playing, sick demo!!

The intro to this is the exact melody of fleetwood mac.
Damn, that was some nice tasty playing.

Instantly inspired from this Dave
Wonderfull playing, excelent test, sometimes very fruscianting tone and play. Greetings man, love that guitar
Fantastic player!
Can you please compare the tone Master deluxe reverb and other amps?
Can this be used for Drop D tuning? Will it stay in tune?
Fantastic playing ! could you let us know your rig set ? do you use any pedal ? Thanks ! I'd love to having the tab for that playing ;-)
Thanks Romain! Dave is plugged directly into the Fender Tone Master Deluxe Reverb for this demo. No pedals!
@@sherwoodmusicKW great sound, both the amp and the guitar ! And the player of course … Thanks for the answer !
I can’t for the life of me remember the name of the song that starts playing at 1:10 but I know I love it.
Muse - The Groove
What amp are you using!
Lovely playing. Is that an original? Great work.
The Groove by Muse...
First person I've seen on TH-cam playing a Gretsch standing up.
How's the balance?
I've heard they can be neck heavy with the strap pin in that position
Like an sg use a suede bottom strap should stop it moving grips to clothing

MUSEEE
Hi this guitar made in indonesia?
What pedals were you using?
No pedals on this one. Straight into the amp.
@@sherwoodmusicKW Any chance you might know what song was played?
@@UNEAKinfluence sounds a little bit like an old Fleetwood Mac tune mixed
@@robertrosejr1 Thanks. I eventually figured out that part. I think you're right. It's a few different songs mashed up. Sounds amazing
Бля что за ахуенный риф на 1:10 ? Подскажите пожалуйста кто знает
чел это же Muse - The Groove
No offense. beautiful guitar, but the $1200 tube amp is what brings this tone out of it. Great video
Griswold, I think you're offended.
@@sherwoodmusicKWthat amp and that guitar is a beautiful marriage, the only thing that offends me is that I can’t play like this guy
Gretch are great for rock music, but no one ever plays them? This needs to change.
Malcolm Young got it already 😉
