Boss Snowplow I have a question. My 8' Boss Super Duty doesn't have an external fill valve it only has the internal fill valve. I purchased it like that, I don't know why it's like that. My question is how do I know how much fluid to add to it? Since I don't have an external fill valve to fill up to the bottom of the valve elbow I'm not sure how much fluid I should be adding to the internal fill valve. Please help!
You know you guys put my drain plug in the most in convenient spot... When I take it out it pours on the bottom plate of the pump housing so I can never keep it from pouring on my floor!
can I use something else to flush the system out on my boss power vxt 8'2 poly before I fill it with boss fluid haven't changed in 2 years boss plow three years old .still operates new run it hard .

If there was contamination noticed at the time the fluid is being changed, then draining and flushing the cylinders may be necessary. But fluid change as a part of regular maintenance does not require the cylinders to be drained or flushed.
Why dont you raise the mount or raise the front of the truck? The mount is way to low as you can tell, not very good for a Boss video to not have a level mount...

Drain fluid. Pour fresh fluid. If you can breath air, you can do that. Any questions?
I had to change out the plow side. I bought a replacement end off ebay and put it on.
Wish I got to plow this year. Maybe next
Good information, Thanks!
Just so you guys know, if theres 2 bolts and a socket head screw, its the socket head. 2020 V Plow.

Would you recommend using a flush liquid for summer storage?
+Tom Giar No, just a normal fluid change will be fine.

Why didn't you flush the cylinders?
