  • Join us on an exciting adventure as we delve into the intriguing topic of racism in Korea, specifically focusing on the experiences of Indians. In this light-hearted and informative video, we take you through three distinct cities-Seoul, Busan, and Jeju-to showcase the different attitudes and perspectives towards foreigners.
Starting our journey in Seoul, we encounter the bustling metropolitan city known for its fast-paced lifestyle. Here, we hilariously uncover the idiosyncrasies of daily life as an Indian expatriate. While Seoul may present some challenges, it also offers a vibrant and diverse community that fosters cultural exchange and growth.
Moving on to Busan, we discover a more laid-back and relaxed atmosphere. Surrounded by warm-hearted individuals, Busan stands out as a city where people treat foreigners with openness and acceptance. Join us as we embrace the welcoming nature of Busan's residents, highlighting the positive experiences Indians often encounter.
Our final stop takes us to the picturesque island of Jeju, renowned as a travel hotspot. Known for its international tourism, Jeju residents have grown accustomed to encountering people from various Asian countries. With this exposure, their attitude towards foreigners, including Indians, is generally warm and inclusive. We share heartwarming stories and anecdotes that showcase Jeju's multicultural spirit.
Through this engaging and entertaining video, we shed light on the reality of racism in Korea, emphasizing that while no society is perfect, each city has its unique characteristics and attitudes. Join us on this journey of exploration, highlighting the challenges, but also celebrating the incredible diversity and acceptance found in Seoul, Busan, and Jeju.

People saying that racism is everywhere don't know that in India there are laws against it and you can even protest ,same goes with most of the countries but in Korea there aren't any laws, you can be discriminated and can't fight because it's legal and normal.
Edit:- If some person makes a racial remark on you they can be arrested as it is a crime, but in Korea you can bully someone and they can't take any legal action against them. The way you look can affect your job, better looking people are preferred more. Koreans can sometimes be very mean, they will say what they think about you on your face, "Lose some weight","You should use skin lightening cream", etc. Although there are many good people there too. People in the replies seem to misunderstand my point, I did not say racism doesn't exist in India, it does, but legal action could be taken against a person who does that but in Korea there are no such laws, their legal system doesn't protect them against racial discrimination.

I watched the video today only and honestly I agree with the TH-camr many things as well as disagree with her on many things as regards the video. And she looks beautiful and despite being a brown-skinned girl, she is prettier than even many Korean girls and women since Koreans do plastic surgery to look good but she is a natural beauty. I am sure even many Korean there found her a good looking lady since she does look good as per both our Indian as well as our current international beauty standards. Only request to her from me is that, if she loses a weight little bit, she'd rock as a fashion model,😊 and for your information, many Indian ladies do work as models in Korea as Indian beauties.🙂. As for me, I am an Indian woman myself in my early 30s.🙂.
Firstly, 0:00 to 0:10, she was wearing saree which is an attire totally different from clothes of East Asian countries since East Asians' attires are similar to Western countries' outfits in many ways, so them staring at her is no big deal in my opinion. I think she should take it positively as if they were giving her extra attention over themselves.😅
Secondly, black people and brown people are not same at all since brown people are overall much better-looking than black people.
Thirdly, 1:08 to 1:13, when that uncle did that "thak thak" or whatever to her, she should have simply ignored him and keeping her face straight should have straightaway entered into that shop/mall/store viewing that uncle as a random low-class labourer. And she should not have insulted herself by making that edited pic of her face on body of an animal, this is because respect, self-respect and honour of a female person is of a different level altogether.
Fourthly, 2:56 to 3:16.... if she had done as much skin-care as the Koreans trust me, she'd have become much more beautiful than the Koreans.
3:17 to 3:45.... when that thing happened to her, she should have just ignored that shouting uncle and slowly should have kept her seat backwards and should have recorded whatever the uncle shouted on her phone's voice-recording system and saved it to confirm whether he hurled any rude or abusive words towards her or not.
Fifthly, be it Seoul or elsewhere, do not give a damn about anyone and if Koreans are busy in their lives in Seoul then foreigners too should become busy with their lives without bothering anyone. Do not make eye-contact with racist people anywhere unless they physically bother you, and just keep doing whatever you were/are doing during that time.
Sixthly, 5:44 to 5:51..... sorry to say but I would not bother to learn Korean language to visit South Korea since foreigners do not learn Hindi or Tamil while visiting India.
Seventhly, 6:30 to 6:47.....Mein innki baat nahin manti. I do not agree with her on this since I would never go to any country thinking about racism and if anyone racially discriminates against me I'd give it back to them and report against them to police and even speak to Indian Embassy to Korea as well as Korean Embassy to India including contacting Indian media news channels etc. And expose those Koreans but not before giving those Koreans' bad behavioural activities back to them with no returns for everyone's whole life.

Koreans are most racist people on earth.
A black guy once visited Korea and he said how uncomfortable he felt in Korea
The famous phrase Asians hate other Asians is invented because of Koreans. They think of themselves as top tier Asians and other Asians are below them and here some clown k drama fans are defending them even though they never visited Korea in their life.

People complaining about Racism in India, she is sharing her own perspective of the kind of racism she faced in Korea. If any foreigner or any Indian ethnicity felt racism in India, this video is not meant for you. She probably made this to give an overview to Indians who plan to visit Korea someday. And its not like she is talking badly about them. She clearly mentioned the kind of people that she met in 3 Korean cities. If you find it problematic then you should skip the video why bother watching it.
And to the content creator who made this video, it is extremely insightful video. From the videos to your narration, everything is spot on. Keep on creating such good content.

To the Indians that say, "I was treated well". My question is, are you by any chance a fair-looking human? Because the issue isn't about Indian. The issue is how dark your skin is.
As an example, Koreans refer to dark skin koreans as "filipino" or basically calling dark skin Korean, Philippines.
Koreans tend to look down on other Asian countries.
Which is why the constant fanatic love from some Indian and Philippines especially, towards koreans, baffles me. For those ssaying," but our idols are different ". No, they are not. They are just smart enough to know you are their stable revenue source and will try their best not to offend the hands that feed them.
During the late 90s and early 2000s when Bollywood is pretty much the go to entertainment around the globe, I don't recall indian being that racist towards Chinese or other races. They just mind their own business.
Infact a lot of interracial marriage between Chinese and Indian happened during that time due to Bollywood.

I myself am northeast. And yeah maybe some people like 10 percent say like that but they don't just descriminate us . They don't banned us in clubs and leave the place where we sit. Dust the clothes which we touched and don't give us shelters. Shout on us like go back from where we just came. I'm not saying that you are wrong they surely do it and they are wrong about it but there are like more than double of these people who speak for us. Who don't just let ourselves get harassed or insulted just because we look a little different from them.

Beautiful video, great attitude. Madam, you kept your cool and made this video without complaining or getting upset. You took the negatives in your side and made the most out of the positives. Foreigners in any country should keep their mind open and also show a lot of patience because racism, prejudice exist everywhere. Avoiding panic, bitterness, and using the brain to navigate the situation without risking your safety are keys for any visitor in a foreign country. You’re a perfect foreigner, and a great ambassador of India. Be safe and my best wishes

You should learn about how the current developed countries became developed. S. Korea is basically a US vassal as is Japan. They sold their lives in exchange for US money. That is why they work so hard. All their development is basically a gift to them by America. They didn't earn it on their own. And how did US get developed? By looting the native north and south Americans, Africans and us, Indians. Europe got developed by looting India.
Not only did they steal wealth, they also stole our knowledge and changed the names of the scientists from Indian to European. This is why they spread so much negative propaganda against India because they want to hide the truth.
So, from a bunch of thieves how can you expect civility?

To be honest, all East Asian countries are racist or xenophobic towards Southeast Asians or people of color. However, there are a lot more good people, and I think that is changing these days as all East Asian countries become global. I think this is because East Asia is all single-ethnic countries with strong national power and advanced countries.

2). If you look at history, it all began with an US marine doctor who initiated this treatment for medical reasons (treating S. Korea victims of war during turbulent years of the previous century), but then he figured out the business potential of this treatment method. The rest is what we see now, especially the kind of society that emerged from the debris of war.
