Living in a country where we don't speak the language is a tough life. Although the country may have the good things that we don't see in our own country it doesn't mean that we will be happier living there. The simple truth is that even if we learn to speak the language fluently we are not in a place where we are supposed to be or welcomed. Racial discrimination and prejudices will show its ugly face. This is inevitable as a foreigner. Some countries will even designate us as aliens. This is my experience living and studying abroad in various countries before. End of the day I will say that there is no place like home even though it may have some disadvantages compared to the other foreign countries!

The first act you explained actuality common in my friend zone. We pay for only what we eat and what we order. If someone suddenly want to share food then they pay equally for plate. We just split taxes equally at the end. It is not that much uncommon in India. 😊
i like the courage and trust u have in ur friend circle.
I agree with u. We also do the same. ☺
Exactly @ankitanaskar we Bengali people are like that...
same here. as students especially, we always split the bill at the end and if anyone has to leave early, they pay their share and go
Same in my friend circle
The funny thing is when us Indians go overseas, we are terrified of breaking any rule and are actually impressed by the quality of the place and the rules in place. However, ghar to bhai apne baap ka maal hai and when it comes to followign the same rules here, we complain.
BTW really loved your honest reaction adn glad you didnt exaggerate the things about Korea like a lot of people are doing atm with the kwave and all that.
Ghr mein rules kon maanta hai 😂
@@ilv839 yahi to baat hai. Na rules maanne hai and then bahar jaake complain karna hai ki India mei ye nahi hota wo nahi hota. Not talking about you in particular btw, but thats the mindset of a majority of Indians.

What's the dharam of the rule breaks in India? Who are ruling India and what's their dharam? When India was Buddhist, we had law and order, but when Brahminism is prevalent, there is no law and order. China, Korea, Japan are Buddhist countries without caste system/jatiwad, hence they are well mannered.

If you live in a country without rules like India and live in a country with rules in Korea, it would be hard
India has very diverse population. And it has world largest democracy. You will find different type of people in one state. And it has also different religious group of people. And has billion of population. its not like you can control such large democratic country by imposing rules of your choice because it may be good for you but not for other many group of people.
@@tararaichand3417Being diverse is such a shitty excuse for the lack of civic sense in people. Don't know what you're trying to do but defending a heinous problem of the country like this is neither cool nor patriotic.
@@sumitchopra9905 nor i am defending problem. but it is a fact you would find different laws in different states. and yeah there are people who create problem that doesn't mean that all Indians are like that. before stating anything you should think about it.
@@tararaichand3417 Neither I am generalising Indians. I am literally an Indian myself. I just find the notion of using diversity as an explanation for lack of civic sense in the public a bit problematic. That's all.

I had to see this before going here, we know everything about this place, what you are telling, how does it feel here like our India ❤
Some habits like 1.paying ones own
Bill.
To be quite at public place
Walking a large distance
Only to sit on ones own seat
To use ur both hands
are actually nice ones.
one thing is good that to keep silent in metros and sit on your own seat...which is rarest in india..this need to be implement in india also..
why can't we talk??
Your vlog r story telling, interesting, different, simple, decent NOT overly done like other Indian youtuber's in Korea.

Same here bro. Maybe she's from North India that's why it's unusual for her.
yes. also, giving/receiving things from your left hand is also considered disrespectful at my place
Same. She's learning "proper" etiquette in Korea. XD
We've neglected that to some extent, imo. I realised that when I noticed “Namaste” (especially to staff) isn't as common as it should be.

Loved your explanation..... very useful to those who want to visit Korea ......I also wish to visit someday....let's see when
Actually, Koreans are very well behaved. They don't like to bother others, nor do they want anyone to bother them. This is a sign of how much they respect each other.
Very simple and elegant explanation 👌👌
It’s common sense to not talk loudly in public places. It annoys me seeing some people treat public places/transport as their home while talking loudly or on speaker.
True..
It's common sense to not expect people to follow your rules in public places. Unless you're on a train sleeping during night, it doesn't make sense to expect pin drop silence. As long as we're going by common sense tho
Korea looks good in K- Dramas only.
Koreans pay attention to respect for others, keeping in mind of space and waste management something we can learn from.

Home is sweet
We want sweetness

Hi! This is the 1st video of yours that I have watched and I have subscribed also. One thing that I liked about you is that we see a lot of Bangladeshi or Indian people after going in Korea start trying alcohol like soju, bear and all. But you have mentioned that 'Maat karna, Alcohol is not good'. After hearing that I feel like I have finally got what I wanted. Not to chage yourself simply because you are living in another country. I am from Bangladesh and I am a hindu girl. I feel good that you are showing respect towards our religion and your culture. Love from Bangladesh. ❤️❤️

Like In India we have popular places like Mumbai where people live in a western and cool style and living there as normal.. but in the same country polar opposite places are also there like you can take east India... there habits and culture are different. NOT blaming but maybe the side of South korea where you're living people would be like that.. but there are some places in south korea where the culture is kinda much better and as good as India's western side
