I bought one the end of November 2023. It came with 4 new style friction pad Inserts, which are SO much better than the stick on pads you see here.
I had to do the install 4 times until I got it right. The secrete for me seems to be to put the clamp on and turn the screw in two turns FIRST, then tighten the clamp by hand as tightly as possible. Then tighten the screw.
I put this on a 2022 BMW 310 GS using the #2 pad, without cutting it. Works great! Paid $125 from Amazon.

How would you like to be the family that invented it and they're being cheated out their will earned income by buying a knock off..I support American businesses!

@@waynebrunner1826 Yes, IT was invented as it IS... Like the spark plug. but Don't think that anyone is getting 'cheated' by using one of many many plug makers plugs? or RC cola and coke? Patents [under any certain production model] are only good for so many years, and then open for a similar system...
Oh hey...just like the 'gas tank' .... is not meaning a knock off in the way you may think. American Business? nope.
The ATLAS, which stands for Adventure Touring Leaves All Signs, was born on the open roads of the world. It was dreamt up in New Zealand, modified in Australia and tweaked again in India.
It was on the Autobahn in Germany where the logo was created. The white circle with three diagonal black lines signifies the "End of All Road Restrictions". You are free to enjoy the open road on your terms, with nothing impeding you along the way - discomfort and inconvenience included. The ATLAS is your ticket to freedom.
A BRIEF HISTORY OF 'THE ATLAS'...
So who ever is utilizing the 'name' per-se is not necessarily using a particular product apart from the original acronym...A T L A S.
      You are welcome. Happy trails.

$281 Aussie dollars ,delivered here ,so very expensive ,its my second one.
The update, with the slide on pads ,are a very good improvement, as i have had the pads fail on the previous model.

I'm unable to get it to work smoothly on my 2012 raider. It binds against switch housing. Sent feedback to manufacturer.

Yah it’s a tad expensive for sure. But I will say it’s well made and after a few months now it’s working really well.
