    foz de lumbier has a short bike trail being connected to pamplona & sanguesa in about 3 years

    the road from Jaurrieta to Abaurrea alta has a river Zatoya cave just below its bridge, acces from its fluvial piscina by a narrow fishermen's path as you can google, too

    foz de arbayun has 2 more entrances from either side - parking from river salazar's entrance near biguezal bridge, the other one from river's exit's bridge near Usun & Domeño, but this via ferrata = ''wired path'' needs an insurance against accidents being contracted before or a guided activity (insurance included) or federation license (for 1 year about 80€?) for barranquismo or montañismo (casa del deporte, pamplona)

    I recommend that you cross borders in the Pyrenees. It's spectacular on both sides (as well as Andorra). Nature doesn't care about borders. Spanish side - French side sounds arbitrary to me.

      Good point! We haven't explored much of the French side of the Pyrenees but would love to in the future. For us this was part of a larger trip around Spain but I could see how a Pyrenees itinerary that incorporates Spain, Andorra, and France would be a good idea as well. Thanks for watching :)

    This was a great video! Thank you for the names of the places in the video description, It makes all the difference. I am adding some of these places to our trip itinerary! How long / strenuous were the hikes, especially the last one? Thank you! (hoping to kayak!!)

    • @LukeandTylerTravel
      @LukeandTylerTravel  ปีที่แล้ว

      The first one (Faja de Racon) was about 9km (4-5 hours) and had some climbing to it although doable if you just take your time. The second hike is a similar level of difficulty but again doable with breaks. It takes about 3 hours from Sant Maurici Lake but you have to walk from the town of Espot to the start of the trail so that’ll add a bit more time (probably another hour return give or take). The hikes are stunning! Hopefully you get a chance to do them. And definitely yes to kayaking in Mont-rebei 👌🏻

    This is really helpful in planning my upcoming trip to this area! Thank you!
    If we were to go to only one place, would you recommend Aigüestortes i Estany of Saint Maurici National Park or Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park? (Such long names! haha)

    • @LukeandTylerTravel
      @LukeandTylerTravel  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching! If you only had time for one park, I would say to visit Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. The combination of the lakes and mountains is stunning.

    This is my grandfather lands the Pyrenees, these lands belong to a residents that becomes Muslims 1400 hundreds years ago , they were massacred by the Christians so they run away to north africa to save their live. Iam a real Pyrenees decedent we have a tribe in north Africa having the Pyrenees name,thats our lands and we will get it back someday ❤

      Lo dudo mucho. Los musulmanes llegaron a los Pirineos pero no se establcieron. Enseguida fueron expulsados a tierras mas al sur.
