Nice demo, Michael smooth as always. I had a very early one that had the bad gear legs and they updated them with better materials and I updated them after breaking. I have let another guy have it for his son and he is enjoying it.
I love mine. I swapped the battery location with the esc and it was the best thing I've ever done for a plane. It made an awesome plane even better. Just do it.
I just got one of these and will have fun in the original configuration for a while before adding another servo and doing the flaperon thing. I was going to get one of those Sig Senioritas, then decided on getting this instead as it essentially has most of the flight characteristics that I was looking for. Nothing like slow aerobatics without being too small of an aircraft. Now if I can get my commander to fly like that Realflight version of the model does, I'll be very happy.
Another fantastic job on the flight Michael I still have mine NIB I haven't had the chance to get up and flying this past summer I have been busy flying other new foamies in my hanger.
Love my ultra stick. Except for it need a little bit of more rudder. I put in flaps on mine goes even slower. Order the umx stick so I can fly in my backyard Like my night vapor. lol.
I typically never measure where my CG is at but try numerous locations until I maximize performance for how I fly. Always start with the recommended but don’t be afraid to slightly adjust from there to make it fly right for you. You may prefer a different CG than I will.
It's a good airplane, but I have had one broken gear leg and the aft fitting for the empennage failed on me recently. I would say I have never had any unreasonably rough landings, but I do fly off grass on occasion. I am surprised there are not more of these at the field.
I love mine! It's great for what it's intended: low, slow, and in tight. The gear legs have been improved. The empennage fitting broke for no apparent reason other than I fly off grass. I added wooden splints, wrapped it with string, and applied epoxy. Now it's stronger than ever.
Well just another YT contributor agreeing with two of my fave YT contributors.... If you have at least a couple of planes... This airframe should be one of them.... FYI 4S with 3 Blade multi-rotor prop turns it into a "Turbo" version... just sayin...
Mike I couldn't agree more. Such an underrated plane. So much fun to fly and way more capable than one would think. As always...brilliant flying!
Thanks Adam. Judging from the amount of views and comments there are many who agree with us.
The smoothest operator!
Your a very good pilot Michael.
Thanks guys!!!
Excellent video. I outfitted mine with LED lighting. Makes a great late evening flyer.
Thank you very much!!! I really wish it came from the factory with lights.

Thank you very much!!! I had an earlier version also and went through a few landing gear legs before finally selling it.
I own one , I agree 💯
It’s a winner in my book.

I’m going to have to try that.
Awesome flying, my friend. I enjoyed ur commentary, and you gained a sub! Keep them coming, sir.
Thank you so much for your comments and for your sub. I really appreciate it!
Great review and fine flying!
Thank you very much!!!
Great video MC, you make it look good in the air, well, all of'em anyway.
AirHammer out!!
Thanks AH!!! I always think I can fly a little better and be a little more descriptive with my narration but I appreciate your comments.
Looks very interesting! Thanks for the video!
You a very welcome.

Looks like the perfect park flyer
It makes for an awesome park flyer.
Love to watch and now hear you fly and comment on what you are doing! I have this bird and really love flying it on G2 3S 2200mAh battery.
Thanks WHTN. I’m always a little unsure what people think about my rambling.
Hey that looks just like mine except more graceful.😃
Dan, I bet yours looks just as nice as mine in the air.
Another fantastic job on the flight Michael I still have mine NIB I haven't had the chance to get up and flying this past summer I have been busy flying other new foamies in my hanger.
You’re going to want to get it going. It’s such a fun plane to fly.

I also have the UMX Slow Ultra Stick on order. I’m hoping we see it soon.
Good video. Can you tell me the wegih plane in fly? How it flies in wind' Thanks,
With a 3s 1300 pack it weighs approximately 32 ounces ready to fly.
Are you flying with the recommended 115mm CG location?
I typically never measure where my CG is at but try numerous locations until I maximize performance for how I fly. Always start with the recommended but don’t be afraid to slightly adjust from there to make it fly right for you. You may prefer a different CG than I will.
That is a little bit different critter for you - but you still put on a nice, smooth show. Enjoyed it !
Definitely a little out of my lane but very fun nonetheless.

Get the improved rugged parts and I think you will enjoy it more!

@williamhoodtn I just received a new piece for the tail and it seems tougher. I have new gear legs, but I am not sure if they are improved.
Hello Sir. How many years have you been flying. I the same plane and can't do near what you can do and I've been flying on and off for 5 years.
This year was my 51st year of flying RC. There are so many fun aspects of the hobby to participate in that I have never gotten bored with it.

It must climb like a ballistic missile on 4s!!! 😮
@@michaelclinerc3211 Pretty much... ROFL
Way too many chemtrails for my liking. Great flying very helpful video. So the radio is controlling the throttle in the loops and hanging.
Yes the radio controls the plane through the entire flight. There is no autonomous capability.
if i want to collab with u, how can i contact you!
