Nice review guys, I flew it on a 1300mah 3s and I am sure it feels lighter with that battery. It doesn't have enough side area with that stick fuselage to do knife edge but it is fun nonetheless.
I really enjoy the one I have. It does low and slow really well with a 1300 battery. I wouldn't recommend it for a trainer/first plane because the landing gear will not take a lot of abuse. The rear fuselage joiner broke after perhaps 15 flights for no apparent reason (It is not strong.). For instructing new pilots, I think the AeroScout is a better choice, and the BNF version is a bit less expensive. Advantages of the AeroScout are that it is very forgiving and the prop is less likely to get broken. It's weak spot is the nose gear if/when it lands in a nose low attitude. And, not everyone likes the look. In fact, some folks say it's right ugly! -Old guy, AMA intro instructor
its a nice relax Sunday flyer and looks like you can fly it in a small areas good video and review I had the ultra stick back in the days it was good flyer too😀👍👍👍
...enjoyed y'all's video...ugly yes I agree . the fun factor is what this plane is all about...plus the avian esc allows for "thrust reverse"...another fun factor....
Thanks for the review guys! I'll agree that this is a bit on the pricey side, but you do get a lot of bang for the buck on this airframe. By the looks of it, I can combine a few parts from my Prime Tundra and a few other airplanes onto a carbon fiber arrow shaft and build myself something similar to this.
really enjoy this plane...my go to for warm up and parks/schools...👍👍 HH has a new more flexable gear available and will be on all newly released versions...it does move along pretty quick if ypu open it up 🙂 have a great weekend ! ...
Place some LED´s on it and you can call it a Glow Stick :D I need this plane. Loved it the first time I saw it. Makes perfect sense when I picture an RC plane.
What did you use for expo on your rates? Also the book says 115mm for cg and I'm trying to balance it with a 1300 battery and it's nose heavy and can't move the tray back any farther. What can I do?
I loosened the two set screws in the battery tray; slid it back until it centered a 3s 2200 batt; pushed as far back (against the gear mount frame) as it would go, and it balances fine; just a tad nose heavy; which is the way I fly...not sure why you would have a problem with a 1300mah...all the best...
First flight the landing gear breaks immediately. Next flight the rear plastic fuselage joiner at the tail snapped. Finding CG is nearly impossible. $200 wasted and I’m a good pilot.

I love them, it's just my opinion. aloha, nice flying.
Same here!
I love the simplicity!

Ugly?

Great flight guys, seems really light in the air.
Flys great! TJ really slowed it down and it remained stable.

TONY!
Dammit, another airplane that I don't need to buy but want. 😅😂

We both liked it at 100% rate & 25% Expo

Just picked one up
Brand new never opened box for $75 I would’ve bought unless it was the $75
I got 2 of them price wasn't no big deal.

Plane has a constant cord wing and you can't calculate the CG?
@@flycatchful Yeah, seems kinda sus.
They do break!!! That gear is the big loser for this plane.
How much fight time are you guys getting on a battery?
