Old guy, 82, here. Been in RC off and on since 1970. I acquired a Slow Ultra Stick a month ago and all I can say is this. This airplane is the most fun and best flying RC model I have ever flown. It can fly like a trainer but goes into Cuban Eights in an instant.
Hey, Congratulations to still be flying at 82!😃 One of my best flying friends is 86 and still going strong! He even flies more than I can, what a good challenge for us younger chaps! 😁 I agree with you....I definitely did not expect it to fly as well as it does! Definitely recommend! 👍🏼 What sized batteries do you prefer?
I'm waiting for mine to arrive. I don't get why people call it ugly. I find it beautiful and I love the simple design. Thanks for the video. I like your calm demeanour and you know your rc!

Hey, 😃 You're very welcome and glad you found it helpful! It's a truly relaxing, yet very capable plane and I like that price point for a "Take-Anywhere sized, Backyard/Park Flyer! I enjoyed the flight but we did kinda run out of daylight, Haha! (Maybe I need to modify a light kit for it.🤔)* Congratulations on the new plane amd I really think you'll have lots of fun with it! 👍🏻
Switch places with the battery and ESC (1800-2200 lipo under the wing) - flight will be SUBSTANTIALLY better in every way and the only way to achieve the ideal CG of 120mm.

I want to think it was around 8-10min depending on how you fly it. But I almost always use Telemetry to monitor live battery voltage so I don't remember for sure. As they say, Time Flies While You're Having Fun! 😃
Reverse throttle? I don't think so. Not what the user manual says. It cautions not to set up safe on switch 2 because it will reverse the throttle in flight which the ESC and Motor are not designed for. If you have unlimited funds, then by all means tear up your airplane and buy another.

The esc has to be capable of reverse for it to be able to reverse. So if the esc can reverse how would it not be designed to do so?
