This recipe is almost identical to the Devil's Food cake I had on birthdays growing up. That was frosted with a thick chocolate buttercream, but this frosting looks great as well. This cake is rich, so I definitely recommend having a glass of milk or a cup of coffee along with it.
If this was the cake from matilda I'll gladly eat it in one sitting. It looks soo good! I've never made good chocolate frosting and I will make sure that I'll master this. It looks so easy to make haha.

This is similar to the cake we used to make for our birthdays growing up. We use milk instead of heavy cream and pour the ganache over the cake and cover the whole cake with crushed peanuts

I made your chocolate blender cake today and i had only half the amount of cocoa pwdr so i melted chocolate and added to it and it turned out to be a brownie cake!
