I’ve always had good luck with Toys Wonderland. Still order some through Sideshow when I’m not in a rush. Found a local comic store where the owner will take 20% off Sideshow price and not change me shipping. Great video as always! 👏🏻
Honestly I use Mercari but the downside is I’m overseas. I started seeing hot toys here in Japan and then down the rabbit hole I go. I can’t ship to a military base so Im currently shipping all my figures home. Waiting to see a mountain of boxes at my house :) When I was looking for tips I landed on your channel and hands down you are the best! Keep doing what you’re doing.
All my hot toys Figures I have bought from mercari at very reasonable prices and a good majority have came with no issues at all, had like maybe 1 or 2 issues where something very minor wasn't described in the listing but other than that yea, I recommend mercari as well for any new collectors, just make sure you check the actual reviews on the sellers page
Great information! Even for some experienced collectors. I use Sideshow (primary), and Big Bad Toy Store (BBTS). Never had any issues and they both have good customer service. Could you please make a video on buying options for Queen Studios and Inart? They are showing promise for the sixth scale community
I really enjoy your videos. Call you people's figure guide since you do amazing job on explaining also nice you genuinely wanna help the noobs like me 😂
Great video Keco👍👍 I especially like your last point about collecting within your means and not run into a pee pee contest with others. I am of the older category you mentioned 😀
Good tips. I always pre-ordered figures I definatley wanted as soon as I could, with a solid believe that aftersales prices sky rocket high. However, I recently discovered this may not always be the case, as I was surprised to see the repaint Boba Fett (non-throne special edition) for just under 200GBP on Toys Wonderland! I did pre-order it, then cancelled due to lack of space and my thoughts on this version of the character's action time. Then this was a bargin I couldn't pass on and yet it's still a good figure.
Your collection is awesome but how do you feel about spending that much money? 😅 I’m not a collector, but I ordered Sideshow Clone Wars Obi-Wan and Anakin,I absolutely love them but now my whole family is making me feel guilty for spending that much money on a toys. And I’m absolutely torn- I love those figures but at the same time I know that they are right and toys shouldn’t cost that kind of money because they are just toys after all 😢 despite all of that I’m enjoying your videos, thank you!
If it's YOUR money, no one should really tell you how to spend it. How do I feel personally? I don't mind because it's something I can continually enjoy as opposed to wasting the money on going out, drinks, etc. it's a hobby, for fun...
Hey Keco have you bought stuff at the Toy Department?? Watch Josh Pence videos, got some nice Hot Toys and other toy lines. Get my stuff at SS, thinking about doing some orders at my comic book store.
They’re mainly known for legit checking shoes and designer clothes but now they’ve added in collectibles which is pretty cool you should check them out because I legit can’t find one video of someone reviewing them.
If buying from eBay, make sure to look at the sellers feedback. I personally wouldn't buy from anyone with less than 100% and make sure buyers protection is an option. Look at all photos and ask for more if you are still not comfortable. Also read the description carefully and ask loads of questions if you need. I've bought dozens from eBay and have had no issues if you are careful.
I love Sideshow and have always had a good repore with them. I only had one bad experience with a seller on Ebay some years ago. I had the winning bid on Ebay, on a Batman Begins collectable . Before Ebay had a buyer protection, the seller told me my bid was too low, and that he was selling me one that was similar to the winning bid. After waiting for 3 weeks and nothing going on, I asked for a refund, I didn't hear back from him again until just before Christmas. He said that he'd mail me a refund shortly after the holidays. He never did, and my patience was done at that point. I reported him to Ebay, and he had a fit. So my advice is to check out the seller, and it's fraudulent, report him. Ebay will usually ban him from selling. Nowadays, Ebay will side with the buyer, and you'll get a refund.
Love how genuine the video is and how much you show concern of the consumer. Really appreciate that from content creators. Great job!
Why thank you! That was my goal
New collector here, and this has quickly become one of my favorite channels!
Love to hear that! Thanks for checking it out
As a newbie, I appreciate your honesty and transparency. Thanks for the solid content.
Always appreciate the kind words. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

Same situation with me! Being going in since I was a kid and now that I’m getting hot toys he has no problem taking off shipping and 20% he’s awesome

Yes! Do your diligence 👏🏻
Great video. A lot of these lessons I had to learn the hard way😂, but I have no regrets. I love this hobby.
Thanks for watching!
Slideshow Collectibles is asking for a Personal Customs Code (PCC), do you know what that is?
I do not. You can chat their representatives online on their site. They are very helpful

Great call! I may have some things to say about QS... stay tuned!
Just curious, are the figures from Pop Collectibles used?
Everything I've bought from them have been new and sealed, but I don't use them anymore so I can't speak to recent practices
@@KeCoCollects Alright. Thanks for the input! I was asking because I'm interested in the Hot Toys Venompool and I was hoping to pick that up soon
@@KeCoCollectsare you able to dhare the reason why you don’t use them? I want to buy something from them but I keep seeing mix reviews

I've bought SEVERAL from TD. I even have a video where I went with my uncle around all the Cincy toy shops :)
As always great video . You touch on a lot of valuable points. I do try to watch all your videos even a veteran collector can learn a few new tips
Thanks for checking it out. I try to make EVERY video worth everyone's time. Thanks for the feedback
What’s better plastic or Diecast? I heard people say Diecast has discolouration issues and you need to buy some oil on it to maintain, is this all bs?
Die cast is premium materials. Never heard of oiling it ever
What do you think about StockX? Some of the prices feel like they’re way too good to be true hope you can make a video about them.
Never heard of them honestly.
They’re mainly known for legit checking shoes and designer clothes but now they’ve added in collectibles which is pretty cool you should check them out because I legit can’t find one video of someone reviewing them.
U know anything about stockx? They have a bunch of hot toys on sale for deep discounts
I personally haven't, but unless there is a strong return/refund policy, id stay away. Better safe than sorry!
Is Stockx trustable or……no?
I have never heard of anyone buying figures from there unfortunately
Hello question should I buy a used hot toys any cons about it because I'm thinking about buying a war machine Mark 1 on eBay

hello ! I want to buy in SS but my account is new. How long does it take for the order to arrive if it is domestic shipping (ready to ship tomorrow?
Depends on where you live. They are based out of California

Have u bought from Mercari?
I have! Got my Tarkin / Vader 2 pack from there. Same rules apply... just be cautious!
@@KeCoCollects sometimes mercari has comic shops selling figures
Great video as usual!!
Always appreciated
The worst is when you buy a figure, sell it, then buy it again. Ugh I pretty much use sideshow n bbts. I Just stick with clones
For sure! Thankfully I haven't had to "rebuy" yet
Thank you 😊
