I have ordered two and they are supposed to arrive Monday. Is there a way to use your own code if you want/need to use devices they don't have in their list? Hi bro I have a IR blaster Tuya brand I am currently using it to control my Atomberg fan through Google home mini but, the issue is its just limit itself to on and off I can not control the fan speed. My question is can I program the same IR blaster to control my fan completely.

Thanks Sachin for another well presented video project. I am using an ESP 8266 board and I got stuck when you said to push the Boot button (when using an ESP 32 board) to provide my wifi credentials to the board but of course the ESP8266 doesn't have a Boot button.

I have pressed and held the Flash button, then pressed and released the RST button (whilst holding in the Flash button), then released the Flash button. There is no blinking light to indicate I am then into Boot mode??
Solved! I was trying to connect to a 5GHz Wifi connection, which didn't work, so when I changed to 2.4Ghz WiFi it worked. I found also that you just need to push and hold on the Flash button for about 5 seconds (just like to Boot button on the ESP32) for it to go into "boot" mode. All working now. Fantastic project!
It works and I tried it multiple times So what happens is for the very first time it requires Internet to get the current time and later the timer runs inside the esp board hence it doesn’t require Internet Clever coding

It works and I tried it multiple times

@@techiesms you can skip the fan regulator function totally as most of the technical people are using bldc fans which doesn't require fan regulator
