- Is TH-cam a good option for making money? Is it a realistic side hustle?
I'm opening up the TH-cam studio to show you how much a small TH-camr makes, so you can work out if it's a good option for you.
Thanks for sharing this. I realized it was gonna take me a while to get monetized as well as to edit in general after getting a new job. It’s tough trying to be creative when you get home after a day of creating in a office, just more screens to stare at lol. I do enjoy the process though - not the 8-5, but just the journey and having something to strive for
Yep, and finding a healthy balance will give you more success in the long run!
Ryan: How about picking a DAW (free to use if possible) and go through the stages of setting it up so a noob can understand all the parts of side channels , bed tracks, etc. and how it all ties together to make a finsihed audio product ready for market...
Hey helpful idea!
Great to see an honest view of this take. I'm far away form getting any views that would count as a content creator, but I start focus to make some videos to document my progress in my CNC journey and I think that I found your channel when I decided to test out Davinci resolve and searching for video tips and tricks to make the editing better for my videos. The odd thing is that my best videos right based on views is the ones that I just uploaded from my phone directly to youtube. :D
Yeah it can be strange like that, glad you’re having some success!
So moaning your own lawn is more economically productive and you do not have to answer my stupid comment. Thanks for sharing !
Do the monetization shuffle...(ah yeah!)
It’s definitely a good feeling, even when it’s $0.80 haha
How long is the period of inactiveness that will trigger demonetisation?
I think they’ve changed it: I was inactive for right around a year when I was removed from the program. TH-cam say it’s 6 months now though!
@@RyanGreen oh wow. So channels that have ever green content can’t carry on earning from it if they decide to stop making new content even though old videos might be getting thousands of views a week still? Harsh
@CulturePhilter yeah, gotta keep posting! It looks like community posts count as activity as well, not sure if you can just make a community post every 6 months and keep it rolling haha
So, trendjacking and trash-talking Adobe made you more money than any legit video? Sad...
I mean that’s not at all what I said lol, although I did find it a little amusing that it’ll probably pay for an Adobe replacement
@@RyanGreendon’t listen to the haters.. also I would argue the st the Adobe vid was pretty legit. It’s also what introduced me to you, go through your vids, and subscribe!
