Why do creators put background music on their content? I find it intolerable. I love music, I love spoken word content. But never together...

The things like the 3d barber shop experience are more impressive than most 3d music I've tried. You have a good point about more sparse music probably works better.

I have a 5.1 demo that plays LOUD locally but is quiet on TH-cam. I'm used same 5.1 system through PC and through Sony BluRay / Media player. TH-cam (or it's app) is attenuating the volume.

Oof mine was -11 db, I knew it was quieter than others. I edit with CapCut and I see they have a settings option for ‘target loudness’ one of which is -14 LUFS (TH-cam) and the default is -23 It almost seems to good to be true that you can select that one setting and the whole video will be at -14 LUFS ?

I'll be going through these tomorrow and building up my (what used to be) limited spfx library. The only issue now is: to drop a few dollars on a newer external hard drive. LoL. I've tried every audio file format, changed to -14 LUFs, tried uploading on different devices and I can not for the life of me figure out how to upload my music without a quite noticeable volume decrease once I upload to youtube. What am I missing?

Good information. How can the person publishing a video not see that the loud background music is drowning out the voice of the person talking? It is a painfully obvious problem. When I encounter it, I close the video and move on to another channel. I don't watch the video to hear obnoxious or undesirable background noise. I want to easily hear what the person is saying.

This is interesting. I would not want to have to pay to quit a service. I don't like the mix of my information and emojis. My point being I can't get emojis off my phone...which used to be anonymous until it was Googled...me along with it. Now if I give you my phone number......you know everything about me from dental records to the time I had to explain to the judge why I had all those chickens. So I keep my photos off the cloud because I volunteer with kids and I don't want their photos accidentally tossed into the world.

Do Capcut has this option? Limiter and compressor?

I feel like another reason all these companies are switching to subscription based is because all of their cloud storage costs are really high, so they need to make customers constantly pay money in order to balance out those costs

I put one of my videos with 16 bit PCM audio using the full volume of it, I uploaded it to youtube and it's quiet when you view it but in YT studio it's insanely loud as I intended it to be, I checked all my settings and there are other videos that are louder.

Okay so from my POV I understand what you're saying, I myself currently pay for a Adobe Subscription and have done for some time now. In order to to really understand why Adobe do as they do is based on how this world works and always will work. First of Adobe might of not been the FIRST type of software out there for the creative suite but Adobe were at the time the most leading at it and despite the backlash they have they still are there even if they do have a minor hiccup. For a few examples; when we talk about Operating Systems we have the lights of Mac; Linux and Windows but from all 3 which was most leading and more known and understood? Mostly Windows. Adobe is the same in that respect when it comes to most known and understood software Adobe would take that lead hence it earned a reputation to be the way to go. Now of course Adobe wasn't always a subscription based model you use to buy a license for each software they had but again times changed to where subscriptions are the norm so Adobe took more of an advantage with that by including all of their software's and bundling them up in a bow. When I see people go on about all these alternatives out there now that can crush on Adobe software it can be indeed very true. But because of this Adobe still holds on tightly to the reputation they earned and well also a lot of their user base grew with Adobe and to switch to another software entirely just seems like wiping the slate and relearning the ropes; people like it easy and if that means sticking with software that isn't cutting edge compared to these new ones just to keep at what they do then so be it. Also I'd like to add that I haven't messed with these new software types and I am sure that they work wonders for you but for me. At least everything I do I can do with Adobe so in that respect why should I change? All because Adobe is greedy and don't want to innovate? Listen no matter what these new companies do to have you use their software instead of Adobe software they all have the same goal and that is to make money and no just because you don't pay for it right now doesn't mean they don't profit it off of you because they do. Once those companies get to certain milestone things will changes and not for the better. That is how coprate works. But the one thing these companies do which get YOU everytime is in the ToS which most do not read but you agree to so in that I'd say if you don't agree then I mean you should of read the ToS before signing up and paying up. But I will admit Adobe has abused their user base but it was to be expected all companies do it so you may aswell just take it.

I purchased CS6, the last version of Adobe before it went to subscription. Recently they blocked my code so I cannot use my software. After chatting and supplying my receipt of purchase they still claim its an illegal copy. I uninstalled it and then loaded my copy of CS4 but their system still does not recognise that I am the owner, does not show in my Adobe account/profile. IMHO this behaviour is Illegal. I now use Affinity and tell everyone in the industry to do the same.

I needed this video. Been hung up on numbers far too much recently and getting down about poor figures. It’s a long game and I should temper that. I’m helping people. Every video helps someone. Even if it’s just the one 😂
