Hear me out, do they have options to adopt kids instead of making more humans? Just wondering. Yes people have a right to create progeny but since so many years are spent waiting, if they really want to be a parent, imo, adoption should be considered.

Adoption is expensive and a complicated process. It could take years before your application is accepted. Sadly adopting children is a money making business.

Adoption is really difficult and expensive. Many of the people who say adopt are then later angry to see less white people around when folks adopt from overseas. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ PS comments section on this is toxic and (unsurprisingly) anti women.

Adoption is unfortunately even more complicated. There are no Swedish children up for adoption and very few countries accept single parents as applicants. The adoption process takes many years and is very uncertain, and it is too expensive for many.

More like: Sweden helps IVF mothers massively, but the wait is longer than they'd hope.
If they wish, they may pay money to get it quicker, just like in almost every other country.
If not, plan ahead and get it years later.
Not everything should be 100% funded by the state, and these women are ungrateful.

WHEN the world was simpler, divided during a bitter peace between the forces of good on this side of the Iron Curtain and the ''Evil Empire'' beyond it, the concept of ''neutrality'' in Europe seemed as clearly delineated and reassuring as the Swiss flag itself. The neutral state stood in the middle, between the globe's conflicting forces. It connoted a certain decency, cold and formal perhaps, but incompatible with the concealment of Nazi plunder or other skulduggery.
But neutrality, like virtue, is seldom absolute. Applied to the acts of a state during several years of war, the adjective ''neutral'' is almost inevitably inadequate. Wars are hell. But they are also opportunity. They are generally long, made up of hard, grinding days that do not naturally nourish man's nobler instincts.
The neutral states of World War II -- among them Switzerland, Sweden and Portugal -- composed their neutrality day after day. The Swiss did not want the Germans in Geneva but did not have an army that could stop them from getting there. The Portuguese, led by a fascist, were worried about what the British might do to their African colonies. The Swedes needed German coal and the Germans needed Swedish iron ore. Such equations -- involving geography, economic interest, historical ties, strategic aims and emotional sympathies -- defined policy. Survival mattered above all.
Morality was secondary, if that; which is where the gold and the assets of Jewish victims of Hitler come in.

@@nathanlevesque7812 actually AFAIK adoption is not only ridiculously expensive but difficult and just as lengthy, at least in Australia. I point this out for a few reasons. Firstly, it surprised me. Secondly, it seems that kids are more likely to get stuck in foster care, and even foster carers may have a hard time adopting. Thirdly, i think similarly. Adoption may not be for everyone but given that so many kids go without homes i would rather this be the logical and ethical go-to. It probably varies from country to country but i do seem to remember there are a lot of hoops to jump through and probably not all of these hoops necessarily reflect what we would consider reasonable fitness to parent. I think even single people may have a hard time.
Speaking of which, although it's a bit 1984, if there was an ethical way to ensure only those with fitness to parent were able to bring life into the world, i think i'd be behind that. It's considered an essential right to be able to have children but not everyone is allowed to adopt and i wish there was a way to stop those capable of having sex without contraception but with no capacity to care for totally vulnerable human beings from bringing life into the world.

These women however are so self obsessed with their own desire for a kid that they are willing to dictate that the kid will not having a father before it's even born.

I'm a single mom. My husband died when our son had just recently turned 2. I'm doing the best I can and for the most part I'm probably doing a halfway decent job but God I'm tired. I get sick like everybody else but when everybody else is allowed to run a fever under blankets I have to get up and play because he's "lonely." When he's sick there's nobody to take turns with. I hold him so he can breathe and if I'm sick too, oh well... I love my son more than life itself and I wouldn't trade him for anything but I wouldn't have chosen to be a single mom either. I honestly believe kids need two parents. And two sets of grandparents. And aunts and uncles on both sides with cousins for them to play with. Because even then it's hard if you're doing it right. Even if I manage to give him most of what he needs, I can't be his dad too and that's a loss he's just going to have to accept because I can't fix that, my needs go largely unfulfilled because there's not enough time. There's not enough of me to do everything for both of us and the house. It's hard to give when you have so little in reserve yourself simply because you're just putting out so much energy and it wasn't meant for one person to do it alone.

Single mother have always existed , but doing it on purpose and paying for it is bacially human trafficking disguised as progress . I’ve seen some people created this way being interviewed and the narrative is not that great , most of them have had some sort of identity crisis , not knowing who the other parent was , not having a relationship with their father ... knowing that their mother didn’t even know who their father was cause she basically bought some “sperm” as if she was buying toothpaste ... as usual children’s rights are considered the least important . It begins in Education. In Europe on average 85 % of primary teachers are women...64 % of Secondary teachers are women. Male role models for boys or girls ? And if it is a foreign country surrogate mother than the woman should be granted Swedish citizenship for her accomplishment and dedication to the growth of Swedish society (and also paid the woman's flight from their foreign country).

You know what’s gross, Mike? The richest country in the world (US) and only developed country which doesn’t have healthcare for all its citizens, because it values corporations and military might over its people. Gross is a country which, for the same reasons, doesn’t provide higher education for all, either and has been defunding schools since the 70’s. Gross is a country where any person or entity with money can come in and buy properties and not even live in them, whilst regular people who live in the area cannot possibly compete with their cash down above asking price money and can never hope to buy a house in the area their family has called home for many generations; therefore, must leave. There’s so much more that’s gross.
