I used this bag during a week-long trip to various theme parks in Florida this June, and it exceeded all my expectations. As the only member of my family carrying a bag, it had to accommodate the belongings of my four children, and it did so effortlessly. The sling configuration was particularly effective, allowing me to comfortably carry everything we needed. The expandable front compartment was invaluable, providing extra space for items purchased at the parks and our rain jackets. Even in the intense heat, the bag’s breathability was impressive. It never felt bulky, even in crowded spaces, and I appreciated the easy access to my wallet in the side zip pocket. Overall, this bag was not just functional but a crucial part of our trip's success.
Tell me more! Was it too big to have on rides with you? Did the staff give you any trouble about taking it on rides? What all did you carry? I bought this pack just yesterday and am wondering if i should buy the backpack harness and laptop attachment.
That extra strap is a chest stabilizer for the sling and bag.... It runs across under your armpit and ribs to tighten the bag closer to your body. Similar to a sternum strap. Great review, thank you!
I love this bag and use it daily, but the interior organization could use some zippered compartments. My stuff frequently falls out of the mesh pockets. Something similar to the interior organization of the AER City Pack Pro. I’d also like to see it just slightly wider, to fit a manila folder or envelope of papers…business papers. Any papers have to be carried separately.
Wow. Complicated UX. Great review, though. What’s it like if you don’t fill the flex area? If you just cinch that down and use the main compartment. Trying to understand how small it can get.
JB this was an amazing video, thank you so much for doing it! Code of Bell x pod is my go to Daily sling bag as well, I love it and I thought a lot about getting this larger sling backpack The only thing I’m curious about on this larger sling bag is how small it can go, I think you did a great job showing us how big it can go out, but what if there stays when I have very little to carry

Much more manageable and that’s how I use it normally.
Chairman. Either you took a large break or my YT be YTubing. Anyways good to see ya back. 💪
Thanks! I’m back…mostly. Just on a more erratic timeline…but the good news is I have the next two weeks covered before I go off grid
Oh man, I thought you were going to make it through the video w/o "there's a lot going on" 😂
😜
JB, have you tried out the Boundary Supply Co. Errant Sling in the X-Pac?
I have and really like for very light carry
@@JBOutside1 Oh great! I'm Hoping to see you do your review of it at some point.
After tricking it out might as well buy a high end backpack
Ok
Does the bottle holder fit a 32oz Nalgene? Some of us are old school..
No. The 18oz Yeti is perfect

Good point. I’ll try and do some compressed views soon
Too expensive for all that fancy features..
Fair enough
Background music is really loud, kind of distracting, a great review though as always.
Let me check on that…I thought it was the same levels
