- A Tribute to WDW's Fantasmic! - 2013 REDUX

This is my new "REDUX" version of Fantasmic! in Hollywood Studios. This video shares much of the footage shot for the original one. However, allot of work has gone into "REDUX" and these are the brand new additions and changes the were made;
1.) Tremendous improvements in overall image quality, clarity and color balance.
2.) Two new camera angles added.
3.) Interlaced footage bugs are fixed in "REDUX". All scenes are now progressive 29.97p/PSF (the old version was a terrible mix of interlaced and progressive material)
4.) DVD & Blu-ray have a new remixed Dolby 5.1 surround channel audio. (taken from original Dolby Pro Logic master tracks with new digital center channel)
Note: My old version of WDW's "Fantasmic!" has been retired and removed from the web in favor of this new version. (the TH-cam hit counter starts again at "0" :)
For all the people that have emailed me asking me about the Blu-rays;...I'm sorry I have not replied to everyone yet! :( Emails are on the way to everybody as well as
specific info on how to get your own sparkling, crystal clear, 1080p Blu-ray disks!! (yes,...I will begin making disks in PAL now as well as NTSC)

It could be a perfect video of Fantasmic, but why are you cutting to a close-up shot of Mickey at the most spectacular moment of the whole show at 26:57 ???
I think its because there are fireworks in the show, and if you zoom into mickey, you won't be able to see the water jets, lazers, and fireworks.

This is an OLD one. I have a much better 4k one that is half finished! Maybe I can get that out after the new IllumiNations RoE 2020 is finished.

Wow!,...thanks. I have all the footage for a MUCH better 4k version of this show that is 1/2 complete. I just have to get off my butt and finish it. I have been using ALL my free time capturing the last footage for my IllumiNations 2019 Farewell video. I'll get back to a new 4k Fantasmic soon! Thanks!!!

California's dragon is more better then Florida(on my opinion).
It was meant to be a placeholder until Disney could build a more impressive Malificent dragon Animatronic.
Disneyland managed to get one, but the one here in Florida couldn't get one due to the financial disaster of Euro Disney (now Disneyland Paris).

@ROBLOX FANTASMIC personally i think disneylands old version is better since its the original fantasmic and beats WDW. We have a full size dragon, the mark twain and overall better story flow. You just cant beat the original. One thing I'll say is better at WDW is you guys have seating and the stage is bigger. But other than that Disneyland is superior.

anybody else wondered how the caught the water on fire ?
They probably have pipes that go above the water to create the "illusion" that the water is on fire. My 2nd favorite show at Disney. Mickey is my favorite! :)
There are actually pipes towards the bottom of the lake (which is actually quite shallow, so don't think too deep) with holes perforated in them. Just before its time to "set the lake on fire" they pump natural gas through these tubes and the gas bubbles to the surface (which is why you see bubbles at the surface of the water where the fire will spread as seen at 22:11). Then, they have a small flame thrower on the right barge aimed towards the gas bubbles to ignite them as seen at 22:07. After that, nature will do its thing, keeping the fire alive as long as you feed it a fuel source (gas). Ironically, it's actually one of the safer practical effects in the show because it's a fire effect surrounded by non-flammable liquid (water) that can be turned off as fast as it can burn off its only fuel source (the gas) quickly.
What amazing footage of this brilliant show, going to be seeing this show again in just over 3 weeks time. I am a big fan of Fantasmic, Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication on putting together an awesome piece of work and bringing a tear to my eye!

Found you from the 8K presentations you did. Hope you will consider doing one for this... it is, IMO, one of the best presentations Disney puts on entirely.
Yup....a new WDW "Fantasmic!" Will come in the summer of 2022 and Disneyland's "Fantasmic!" Will probably come at the end of the year.
@@CLIFFLIX That's right it will feature new lighting, audio, and projection systems for reimagined versions and new sequences from Moana, Aladdin, and Frozen.
