    Thanks for the video JAYTISS,
    The EW300 requires a decent cable upgrade ( not usb )the sound is more full body than Kefine Delci, I eq the whole frequency to max slightly less on 250 and 500 hz , it shines with brighter music, vocal / mids is better than the Delci .I equally love the Explorer and the EW300 , I used foam tips better than latex or w1. It's a super value IEM set to me ,power w MoonRiver 2 for more power driving them better cheers.

      @@Greg.Siucrazyforaudio2016 You have both? How's the subbass compared to the Explorer?

      @@Helmond2017 The Explorer is better in both midbass and subbass , in general I like the upper mid of the EW300 , its just more correct to me after eq to Max.
      I do the opposite to Explorer eq to the lowest and adjust a few more db to my liking.
      The Explorer is really good in some music, but not everything , only shines in good recording , but the EW300 are good in everything.but technically the Explorer wins-you get what you pay for .
      Both I have upgraded a better cable and tips Cheers.
      If you like subbass think about the DynaQuattro , save money for future upgrades.
      also the EW300 is more revealing that you don't get from the Explorer , better to own both.
      Anyway the Explorer is still well worth the money for sure .

    I'm happy that Simgot released multiple versions. I bought the hbb version. DSP has more negatives than positives, IMO. My use cases all have no need for DSP as well. If I wanted to tinker with an app, I'd use my TWS sets and not deal with a cable at all. I also am not a fan of all the spyware apps that are necessary to use DSP to its full potential. DSP = Download Spyware Programs, lol.

    • @Jaytiss

    • @bigbuckoramma
      @bigbuckoramma 27 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      What are you talking about??? The DSP is baked into the cable. There is no App. It only provides some smoothing to the upper treble, augmenting the tonality.
      Nothing you said here applies to this set. At all.

  • @bigbuckoramma
    @bigbuckoramma 27 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

    Im just gonna be "that guy" and play Devils Advocate here, and ask this question...
    Did you...ACTUALLY...listen to this set?
    Or did you just toss it into your coupler, run a sweep, and draw all of your conclusions for the whole review based in the graph alone? Because that sure is what it seems like.
    First, you immediately call the Mic Nodule and function button a "volume control". Uh...no. You also seem to fail to realize that the "cable" is just a USB up to the Y split, where the actual circuitry is located. It doesn't need to be fancy.
    Next, you immediately complain about the upper mids pina gain. The alternative Gold Nozzle specifically targets this region, and damps it by about 4db, giving it a nice preferred W shape between 3-5k. And closely matches the Dusk tuning in the mids, but with more gliding mid to sub bass, and less glare at 15k. Something you could easily see if you had tested the Gold Nozzle. In another comment below when asked about the Gold Nozzle, you say "i have no opinion on them", which is two words too many for "I didnt test them".
    The third red flag, is that you immediately compared these to the EW200, and seem to be making that entire comparison off of the relative graph plots, which says nothing about the added level of detail and clarity the tribrid design brings out, while significantly reducing sibilance that some people experienced with the EW200 and EA500LM. You do not need screaming hot treble to have detail and airiness.
    Ralistically, outside of sharing a similar Simgot "house sound" frequency response graph, the EW200 sounds nothing like the EW300. And that divide is even bigger with the Gold Nozzle tuning that you didn't test or graph.
    Then, later, the Zero2??? The EDC Pro??? The level of detail in the EW300 is vastly superior to either of those single DD budget IEMs. There is far more texture to the bass, and much better note separation and weight in the EW300. The only single DD that would be reasonably be comparable in price and tonality, is the Delci AE, which has been called a "Simgot Clone" by more than one person. Again, this makes me strongly question whether you actually put these in your ears, or simply pulled a squig and said "meh", and wrote your review without bothering to listen critically.
    And even if you did give them a listen, the actual review itself is unquestionably incomplete, and misses many details and kacks accuracy. Like the "volume control" flub.
    I dont know man, this review makes little sense to me. I dont think everyone needs to hype train these, but this review doesn't add up. You are absolutely entitled to not like them, and have a differing and descenting opinion to other reviews, but when the criticisms and comparisons dont really line up with reality, I cant help but scratch my head.
    Tone Deaf Monk didnt like these either. But i know full well from his description of things, that he fully tested them. Because i can apply my experience to his, and find continuity, even through we have clearly differing perspectives. And i find a distinct lack of that here.
    Sorry man, but i really think this review is a giant miss, and lacks your usual quality and thoroughness. And thats not to hate or bash, i say that out of concern as constructive criticism.
    Nothing but love, man.

      Thanks for the feedback. As far as the detail and ew300 is it strong and nice sounding but I just didn’t find extremely great. It was a smoothe set that I should have reviewed more thoroughly. Great feedback and I appreciate it. I like this set and should have further articulated as to why, and my issues with it.

      @@JaytissI appreciate that you took my comments to heart, and didn't just immediately knee jerk to it as being bashing, or trolling, and did recognize some of the shortcomings of the review. Sorry if it did come across as a little dismissive or rude, but I did want to get your attention. I also feel like the Cantor and the Canpur sandwiching this review could have also had a fair amount of influence on things as well.
