Did the kima 2 sound clean or there was a bass bleeding it the mids. And did u try Tangzu yuxuanji (what a stupid name but it looks gorgeous) or the Topping hane?

Another mystery. There is no way from the graph that the mega5est bass edition has more clarity and detail than that of the origin. Mega5est bass edition shows more upper bass, closely matches the mids, and has less lower and upper treble. There isn't any part (other than high mids 3-4.5kHz) above 300Hz where the mega5est is elevated above the origin. I just don't get it. Does elevating the 3-4.5kHz region 1.5dB give an iem more clarity and detail vs elevating any other region above 4.5kHz?

How good is the hydro for gaming?

Do you have a recommendation for a neutral (but not rolled off bass) IEM for production/mixing/monitoring, preferably under $300? I have a Zero Red that's good enough most of the time but do prefer my old Massdrop+ for music listening. It seems like an IEM should be able to be the most neutral consistently, obviously still want a speaker monitor check

One good thing about this hobby, you can never not get excited. Loads of awesome new IEMs to try this year. 😅

Explorer is one of my favorite sets this year. Hype 4, Doscinco, explorer, s12 2024 and Supermix 4. edit also Juzear 61t was a banger despite the venting.

Great video! You hit 3 of my top picks of the show. Kima 2 is excellent, Dita Mecha is so warm and smooth, and the AME Mousa is truly the TOTL endgame for me.

I was surprised it sounds like it's in the same league with my kilobuck IEMs no kidding The treble is impressive and that's just BA treble? It sounds about as extended as the EST they sound close to the 64 audio tia nozzle BAs good job AFUL Cantor is definitely not an awful IEM it punches above its price range about the same level as the 64 audio U12T and the QDC Anole but it's under 1k now I'm much more interested with the Performer 5 and 8

I'm still yet to encounter an IEM to beat UM Multiverse Mentor in imaging and my Audeze LCDi3 soundstage is still unmatched

Was my 4th Canjam and I finally got my ears on the Annihilator. Lived up to all the hype as the most impressive and clean version of that tuning I've ever heard. Wasn't my preferred sound but I could instantly tell why it's so popular. I enjoyed the new Campfire Clara, Dunu Glacier and everything at Symphonium's table. The Auribus Sierra headphones were also really great.

Project M with the FiiO HS18 eartips is near basshead.

Jaytiss has a radar to detect Planar sound. Can we assume DD is for bass, 1 planar for mids, and 1 planar for treble?

The problem with these drivers is you could measure another one and it would be different enough to not be the same iem.

Just had a scan through your ranking list... I highly recommend you try the Prestige LTD... It's one that got overlooked by many... Not sure why... I can't find any flaws in it's sound at its price.
