Rules:
1. Fainting = Death
2. I can only catch the first Ground type shiny encounter on every route
3. Nickname Pokémon
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on (pretend) Set battle mode
7. No Tera

Just a gentle ptr : when a pokemon gets terastalised into a different type it will still get STAB from its base typings.
This means if a dual type pokemon is terastalised into a third type it will get STAB from 3 types! not forgetting the fact that it will get double STAB from tera type. So ultimately Terastal phenomenon is amazing🤩

By the way, you can buy leftovers as soon as you get access to Cascaraffa (you don't need any badges or anything iirc) which is important to note when nuzlockeing S/V

Can technically get Gible before the first gym as well, but it ranges from like 14-17 so it may notve been before the 1st gyms level cap
I'll be honest I can't remember if I completely missed that, or I did notice it but just wanted to play the game and stop shiny hunting
I think full odds shiny hunting is only fun if it’s a Pokémon you really want
I just dont think ive got the patience for it
Question, why did you not switch immediately into palossand during the fight with Eri against the star mobile? They're literally immune to fighting, aren't weak to ground, and take normal damage from the steel type move, and also has almost double the base defense as clodsire
I assumed clodsire would be able to take one or two hits and get some damage off before I had to switch into palossand
