Can I Beat A Platinum Hardcore Nuzlocke Relay Race?

For A Relay "Race" I will be honest there is a lack of racing in this video.

Rules:
1. Fainting = Death
2. I can only catch the first type encounter on every route
3. Nickname Pokémon
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on Set battle mode
7. No Evs
8. Once I beat a gym Im not allowed to use any pokemon I caught before the gym.

You know, you can kill or run from an encounter. You lose the area encounter, but you can catch the encounter in later areas. You don't have to catch every encounter sicne you want to preserve encounters.
