Jeep Renegade refuses to give up! Arkansas State Police pursuit and PIT / TVI Maneuver

- Trooper's Report:
On 06-08-2024 at approximately 01:01am, I was notified by dispatch that the Lowell Police Department was in pursuit of a
white Jeep Renegade on Hwy 71B northbound towards Rogers and requested our assistance.
At approximately 01:14am I intercepted the Pursuit at the intersection of Dixieland and Olive. The suspect vehicle turned south
onto Dixieland from Olive and was traveling at a slow rate of speed. I performed a TVI on the driver side of the suspect vehicle
causing the vehicle to come to a stop on the east side of Dixieland facing west. The suspect then reversed the vehicle into a
field. I then rammed the passenger side of the suspect vehicle to prevent escape.
The suspect then drove forward out of the field into a private parking lot and reentered the roadway on Olive. The suspect then
turned north onto Dixieland, where I performed a second TVI on the driver side of the vehicle. After the TVI the suspect
continued to drive through private property on the west side of the road and reentered the roadway on Olive west of Dixieland.
I then performed a third TVI on the driver side of the vehicle, on Olive near 24th which did not stop the suspect. A fourth TVI
was performed in the same location, then the suspect turned south onto 24th St from Olive. The suspect attempted to perform
a U-turn on 24th St, and when doing so I rammed the driver side of the suspect vehicle causing driver side curtain airbag
deployment.
The suspect vehicle was blocked in by myself, Lowell Police Department and Benton County Sheriffs Office. Lowell officers

More Info: "Antonio Aguirre, 29, was arrested on June 8 and is accused of fleeing, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with evidence, kidnapping, careless or prohibited driving, refusal to submit to arrest, and obstructing governmental operations.... Court documents note that between the years 2014 and 2023, Aguirre had 26 arrest cycles for things such as aggravated assault, theft, reckless driving, and others." This event on the video is a vicious waste of taxpayer dollars by lawyers and judges. Thanks to Law Enforcement for doing their part correctly.

Used to pull across Mo. to race their sporty, flat 1/4 mile track. Liked taking home their decent purses. Very staunchly conservative region, he'll get all he has coming.
What I don't get is how difficult is it for 1 more cop to block him in the front. a tree on 1 side a car on the other and 1 in the back. Let's leave the front open for him.

Those first two TVIs were things of beauty; chef's kiss. All pushbar, no damage. The last one however ... oof. ASP's body shop must be busy.

Aside from trooper Duncan's multiple excellent PIT's... I REALLY LIKE that light setup on the Benton County Sherriff Tahoe. I love that it dims and slows the strobe when in park. I'm no epileptic, but I sure would appreciate that feature when driving past a traffic stop.

I’ve noticed similar behavior on Utah Highway Patrol vehicles. It’s so much nicer than the full strobes, especially at night.

New record for ASP 4 pits in under 4 minutes (lost count but I thin at least 4). Great way to practice TVI for ASP. Now the trooper will be able to pit at higher speeds. Joking aside, I feel for the officers that have to put up with these types of people. No respect for the law. This person needs to have like 4 counts of felony fleeing 6 years x 4 count = 24 years. Don’t let him out until 2048. 😊

It was smoking like it was fairly disabled and kept going. But yes, if the Trooper hit it harder in the door at the first TVI, air bags deploy, vehicle is done.
It was already well on the way to disabled based on all the steam. Would've overheated in a few more minutes if they hadn't finally boxed it in.

It's like Jeep predicted to kind of people that would drive the stupid-looking cars Jeep built for them of these days because they're all garbage anyway unlike the real Jeeps that were made pretty much in the 90s and below. My hubby is fond of the DJ5, such a weird little Jeep...if I recall correctly, it had a Chevy engine, Ford rear end, and a Mopar driveshaft that was about 15" long. We got an old '90s Cherokee with the I6 now and it's awesome.

Nice Pit Maneuvers Alexandria, a thought for the future. When you spin them with nose facing you on newer vehicles. You can deploy the front air bag with a 10 mph bump. That will put it in limp mode.

Nice job trooper Duncan. But with all the cars the other agencies had on the scene just one of them could have ended the chase when the suspects vehicle was pinned against the tree by ASP by blocking his exit. What were they there for? Designated audience?

At the first opportunity, one police car firmly pinning the front of the suspects vehicle and a second police vehicle pinning the rear of the suspects vehicle. This just may work wonders.
