That pumpkin candle holder is so pretty! That little itty bitty basket was adorable too. I have no clue what I would have used it for, but probably couldn't have resisted it. I liked your showing us your buggy twist. FuN! Blessings 😊
Julie, I have to say this was a perfect video. Not a lot of chatter but just enough, and perfect with the music. I actually enjoyed going shopping with you! You are great!
The white plastic basket, yes, hangs on the wall, it was a set of 2 different sized vases(which would hold fake flowers), 2 wall scones and an oval mirror sold by HOMOCO aka Home Interiors back in the 80's
I love to go thrifting at Salvation Army. The one nearest me closed when Covid first started. I miss it so much. Yours is really nice, i enjoyed watching you thrift. You got some nice items. I think the best part is seeing how you decorate with your finds.❤❤❤❤
Hello Julie and family. I hope you are all doing well. I love the candle holder with the pretty pumpkins. Yay! You bought it for $1.99. Retail $15.50. One of my daughter favorite store Bath & Body Works. Wow they even have the chairs like in the beauty parlor with the hair dryer attached to it. Today my husband and I stop at the Thrift store to donate items. We stop at Sams club to buy a storage shelving for our bedroom. He also fixes the closet in our daughter bedroom. The metal where the hangers hang felt with the clothes. He bought the pieces and made it stronger. The people that built the house did not make it stronger. We are the 1st owners. Good night.🌃
I am always amazed at the neatness and cleanliness of the stores you visit. In my area, most thrift stores look like a tornado came through! You have a good eye for items that are well made and/or in good condition. And I too would lay out items to see if they are in good shape and have no holes or stains. Thank you for your very informative videos!
*Julie I L💜VED THIS NEW FORMAT and the MUSIC 🎶🎵 🎶 YOU PLAYED SO MUCH❣️ And JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF TALKING❣️💜💕 You are so faithful to show us how to style what you bought, and offer tips and suggestions about how things you see on the shelf could be utilized - even if you don't purchase that item - and I want you to know HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE THAT YOU DO THIS FOR US❣️‼️😉 Also, if you can find a round oak side or end table in your area for less than $10 at a garage or yard sale, that's FABULOUS, and I would wait it out, too....or wait until Monday and hope you can buy it for $7.50 - THAT IS GREAT and I WILL NEVER GIVE YOU GRIEF OVER THAT, LOL‼️😉🤣🤣🤣 However, here in Minnesota, our yard and garage sale prices have gotten so high - I would be SO HAPPY IF I COULD FIND A LITTLE TABLE AS NICE AS THAT FOR $10...LOL‼️⁉️‼️ I CANNOT, JULIE, so I will pay $10 ALL DAY LONG❣️😁🥰 I SURE WISH WE HAD YOUR KIND OF PRICES UP HERE FOR SURE....Hahahahahahaha🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I ☝️🙏PRAY YOU ●KEEP HAVING● such FABULOUS PRICES, my Sweet and Dear Friend and Sister-in-Christ, JULIE❣️❣️❣️😉🙏☝️ ✝️💜*
YOU'RE THE BEST THRIFTER ON YOU TUBE!!!!! I like the way you did the haul this time too, you always come up with great new ways to add interest to your videos! And, you ALWAYS tell us prices! Seeing your brass coal scuttle in this video reminded me of when you found it a long time ago. I have been looking for one since I saw yours. Well, my wish came true yesterday. Found one at a Goodwill for $10.99! Needless to say, l am a very happy woman. Can’t wait to style it next to our fireplace. You got some great buys. Great video too!
I love your videos Julie. I enjoy seeing how you style your items. I get lots of great ideas from you! You & Donna are my absolute favorite person to watch 💕
When I was a young girl, my momma an I decorated my room with a set of hobnail items she got from Home Interiors. The little bobtail sconce was from that collection. I had it with tiny little daisies in it. I think I still have the set somewhere!
Love all of your thrifting videos I have been wanting for over a year, I’m sure it has been longer possibly 3 years……….lose track of time. However, I have to say reading the comments is my 2nd favorite thing. Brings back a lot of fond childhood memories! ❤️. Thank you Julie
Hi Julie i saved my old freezer baskets (the white one you bought) and we use them in the basement to store items. Great organization. Save and reuse 😊
I love your channel, and look forward to when you post your shopping and styling information. You really do have a knack for using the thrifted items in a very cozy and country style. Makes a person want to put the old boots and jacket on and go find our own treasures!
I appreciate those freezer baskets for my big chest freezer. I buy certain things in bulk (think bread on clearance, & frozen vegetables!). My Mom always made pies in an aluminum pie plate just like that.---Made it to an estate sale held both weekends, great deals. My friend & I will attend on Sunday for $1 day!
Julie you were also my first thrifter to watch and I am subscriber for life❤ I thoroughly enjoy your content as I only have a couple friends and one lives out of state so I feel you are my friend too. You and your family are fun to watch and I love the way you present the pieces in your home😅 I am a Thriftie for Life
Fun shopping trip. I would have gotten the freezer basket also. I thought the candle holder with the pumpkin was cute and maybe a great gift. I'm glad you picked up the Heavenly Hymns Song book.
The tin pie dish below the clay plant pot, I've never seen that done before and it is definitely giving a hint of the 'rustic & homestead' vibe.... I really like this idea thanks so much for sharing.
Hi Julie! Wow, I couldn't believe you got such a great price on that Bath and Body Works candleholder! Whenever I go into their store all I can afford to do is sniff the merchandise (soaps, body washes etc.)😢. Can't wait to see the next video, have a great day!❤
Thank you for sharing your SA thrifting with us today, Julie. Sage advice and really fun to see your purchases and styling. Totally agree about thrifting being such a wonderful way to organize for the New Year and always brilliant for home decor - I have learned so much from you over the year. So grateful. Warmest connections from a very cold (-3) Colorado Rockies cohort here cheering you on!
I have never been in our Salvation Army. You found some neat things as usual. I bet you will gift the little fall pumpkin piece..I could not have left it either. ❤❤❤
Your Blue/ white buffalo/ gingham pieces are beautiful and crisp looking . I love how you have styled them !!! - I had great luck today too at my Goodwill- they had several pieces of my phaltzgraph pattern! Never have been to Salvation Army- don’t know if one near me. You had great finds today Julie. Of course !!!! ALWAYS a 👍🏻to your channel !! ❤xx
Fun shopping trip Julie, love the black tin. The rooster plates are cool along with the amber vase. I totally understand waiting til the price is right. The picnic baskets were cute. The green Afghan was nice.
Hi Julie, tell you what I did with a freezer basket, I put it in my colman cooler , with the ice underneath and a Walmart 1.98 placemat on the bottom of basket and all the food goes in the basket. I did have to cut the handles off for it to fit but food doesn't sink into the ice . Signed, faithful watcher liker and subscriber.
Love your channel. The blue and white cloths are restaurant tablecloths. You left behind so many items I would have snapped up! It is HARD to say NO! That's why I watch you, and try to stay out of the thrift stores. LOL.
Julie, my favorite thrifter ❤. Our Salvation Army stores are outrageous here and things stay there for months! I loved those apothecary jars and great prices on those. I’m like you, I’ll pass on a $10 end table as I know I see for lots less at yard sales. 25% sale would be worth it. Lots of great items for organization and love the fall candle holder!
You found some nice pieces! I like when someone makes a purchase then shows how they style it, makes it more personal or something. I collect old bibles and hymnals, some date back to the real early 1900's. So neat to find old things right?!
The lidded apothecary jars are great for everything storage. The small collapsible wooden napkin holder would make a great "bookshelf" for my skinny paperback cookbooks! The Stamps-Baxter Hymnal was my favorite purchase, I live vintage hymnals with the old hymns that i grew up singing! Please keep posting your sttling pists - I, too, am an out of the box thinker. I never would gave thought to use baking pans for trays beneath plants!😊
I liked the new way you showed us what you bought....showing us each item, what it cost, then placing in your "buggy" 🙂

Clever idea to use that metal pie plate under a plant!
Our Salvation Army closed during Covid. Thank goodness we still have Goodwill.
S.A. is so much cheaper than GW though, those small glass containers with lids would've been $ 3.99- $4.99 at our GW
I love your channel, and look forward to when you post your shopping and styling information. You really do have a knack for using the thrifted items in a very cozy and country style. Makes a person want to put the old boots and jacket on and go find our own treasures!
