That pumpkin candle holder is so pretty! That little itty bitty basket was adorable too. I have no clue what I would have used it for, but probably couldn't have resisted it. I liked your showing us your buggy twist. FuN! Blessings 😊
The white plastic basket, yes, hangs on the wall, it was a set of 2 different sized vases(which would hold fake flowers), 2 wall scones and an oval mirror sold by HOMOCO aka Home Interiors back in the 80's

I love to go thrifting at Salvation Army. The one nearest me closed when Covid first started. I miss it so much. Yours is really nice, i enjoyed watching you thrift. You got some nice items. I think the best part is seeing how you decorate with your finds.❤❤❤❤

When I was a young girl, my momma an I decorated my room with a set of hobnail items she got from Home Interiors. The little bobtail sconce was from that collection. I had it with tiny little daisies in it. I think I still have the set somewhere!

I am always amazed at the neatness and cleanliness of the stores you visit. In my area, most thrift stores look like a tornado came through! You have a good eye for items that are well made and/or in good condition. And I too would lay out items to see if they are in good shape and have no holes or stains. Thank you for your very informative videos!
Seeing your brass coal scuttle in this video reminded me of when you found it a long time ago. I have been looking for one since I saw yours. Well, my wish came true yesterday. Found one at a Goodwill for $10.99! Needless to say, l am a very happy woman. Can’t wait to style it next to our fireplace. You got some great buys. Great video too!

The little white hob nailed vase is a wall pocket. You can put a silk plant or stems in it.

Hi Julie, tell you what I did with a freezer basket, I put it in my colman cooler , with the ice underneath and a Walmart 1.98 placemat on the bottom of basket and all the food goes in the basket. I did have to cut the handles off for it to fit but food doesn't sink into the ice . Signed, faithful watcher liker and subscriber.

I appreciate those freezer baskets for my big chest freezer. I buy certain things in bulk (think bread on clearance, & frozen vegetables!). My Mom always made pies in an aluminum pie plate just like that.---Made it to an estate sale held both weekends, great deals. My friend & I will attend on Sunday for $1 day!

The white phase wall hanger was home interior I do believe and yes you can add flowers
I think the white basket belonged in a freezer or refrigerator as a pull out tray.
If it’s home made quilted you can tell by the stitching. It will vary a bit in different sizes of stitches. Machine will be all the same.

Our Salvation Army closed during Covid. Thank goodness we still have Goodwill.
S.A. is so much cheaper than GW though, those small glass containers with lids would've been $ 3.99- $4.99 at our GW

Hello Julie and family. I hope you are all doing well. I love the candle holder with the pretty pumpkins. Yay! You bought it for $1.99. Retail $15.50. One of my daughter favorite store Bath & Body Works. Wow they even have the chairs like in the beauty parlor with the hair dryer attached to it. Today my husband and I stop at the Thrift store to donate items. We stop at Sams club to buy a storage shelving for our bedroom. He also fixes the closet in our daughter bedroom. The metal where the hangers hang felt with the clothes. He bought the pieces and made it stronger. The people that built the house did not make it stronger. We are the 1st owners. Good night.🌃
Julie, my favorite thrifter ❤. Our Salvation Army stores are outrageous here and things stay there for months! I loved those apothecary jars and great prices on those. I’m like you, I’ll pass on a $10 end table as I know I see for lots less at yard sales. 25% sale would be worth it. Lots of great items for organization and love the fall candle holder!

The tin pie dish below the clay plant pot, I've never seen that done before and it is definitely giving a hint of the 'rustic & homestead' vibe.... I really like this idea thanks so much for sharing.
Fun shopping trip Julie, love the black tin. The rooster plates are cool along with the amber vase. I totally understand waiting til the price is right. The picnic baskets were cute. The green Afghan was nice.

Our Goodwill has really priced itself out of the thrift field and is more TJ Maxx dollar-wise. What are they thinking, especially since their stuff is second-hand? It's second place to The Humane Society Thrift Store in The Best of vote now. Everyone is a volunteer at the Humane Society and 100% of their profits go to their no-kill shelter, unlike Goodwill where the top management makes millions of dollars every year. Our local GW is very sparse these days - gee, I wonder why?
