Julie a memory came back when i was looking at that item you were wondering abt. I think its for 45 records. I chuckled when you were talking abt broken record and i wanted to holler yes its for records lol. So happy your feeling better. I know first hand how it feels cause ive been sick for over 5 months . Mystery multitude of symptoms. No fun. Our health is so precious. It made me happy to hear abt your excitement abt Spring. My fav time of year.Everything is new!
Yes the gold metal rack held records. I had one when I was young. The glassware is what gets me. I love cut glass and any kind of dishes with pretty little flowers on them. I also love the craft section and vintage stuff.
Julie glad u r back!! Can you please show us how your are going to clean the pocket change plate glad you are back on your feet and may the lord hold you in the palm of his hand
So sorry you were sick. I truly understand. I was out of commission for over a month with the cold/virus (whatever you want to call it) when it came our way. It was no fun! I think the brass piece with a music shape on the end is a record holder. - maybe 45's if not albums. Also, I loved that little white pitcher (creamer or gravy boat) with the embossed heart and flowers on it. I was so glad you got it! Blessings, Janell
Glad you are feeling better. Missed you. seems GOODWILL IS GETTING VERY HIGH. ALMOST RETAIL PRICES. For your first day out after being sick, you found some nice items
Glad you are feeling a little better Julie you were missed my Saturday just did not feel the same. Cannot belive Elizabeth is 18 Hope she had a good onexxxx
I have gotten to the point where I almost refuse to go to Goodwill anymore because of the ridiculous prices. If you go to any other thrift store, the prices are what we are used to and not jacked up. Often times those other thrift stores are church ministries or other charitable organizations that I feel good about supporting as well.
That how I got started making wreaths and floral arrangements for my little "shop" I dont do it to make money its just a hobby of mine. I started making them for friends and family as memorial gifts. I was asked to help with wedding florals and thats when Simply Ellegant Designs was born. You can do so much with very little and no one but you will ever know unless you share the know-how. I love your channel for showing how old or used things can be made into something beautiful with some imagination and TLC. Everything you have done is breathtaking ❤❤
I like when you say, the trend… I just do what I like. It’s like designers think we all repaint the inside of our houses every year to go with the trend. Kitchen cabinets, the new trend… who does that and where is that info coming from. I’m like you, I go with what I like.
Julie u one of my favorite thrift store, thrifty on TH-cam, I be waiting on u on TH-cam, I be so excited to see u when u come on TH-cam and I love how u be decoration with the things u be getting from the thrift store
Glad you're feeling better. But just so you know those two plates you looked were pewter. I could tell by the markings and the town that they were from Germany. However I don't know why that one was had a yellow tint to it, maybe someone used a metal cleaner that damaged it.
Glad you feeling great now!!!! I think the music note thing holds 45rpm records! I do believe we had a similar one when I was little! Julie.... I know I keep saying it, but YOU'RE THE VERY ULTIMATE BEST THRIFTER ON TH-cam!!! You do beautiful videos, nice pace, always show prices, show items you love and that we might love! And you share how you style things in your home (which is beautiful!)! It's just a JOY to me when I see that you've posted a new video! Thank you for making my time without a home of my own so much more tolerable! I look forward to thrifting my own home, whenever I am blessed with one!
That musical rack is for records. I had one similar, but no musical notes on the ends. My husband has one of those pocket change trays, passed down from his dad. I use the little pie/tart plates to use under my potted plants on my porch. Looks much better than the plastic trays. I also buy ceramic planters from the thrift store. I've even used a chamber pot and soup turine as planters.
Great to see you back! I hope all your sweet family are well. I believe that is a record rack, used to hold the small “45” records back in the50-60s. Loved all your haul - Have a great weekend- don’t “ over-do”’!!! ❤xx
So glad you are feeling better. I was missing you. Your channel is my favorite on TH-cam. Thank you for all the content you provide. I love shopping with you
So glad you’re feeling better Julie, have missed you. You’re by far my favorite ! Loved that pewter looking plate in the beginning and the Show Me the Way pewter tray, pewter was known as “poor man’s silver” and love it in my primitive decor. Love the pocket change piece you found! A record holder! So many fun things on this trip. Thanks for a great video. Hope you feel better, sending hugs from upstate New York Debby
Hi Julie, glad to hear you are feeling better. Eye-spied soome vinatge "green" Fiesta plates, oh I would have snagged them right up!! Yes, that was a record rack. We (family) had two of them in our younger years growing up. 🙏🙂
Julie good to see you , hope you are feeling a lot better now. Thank you for thrift trip. You found some good quality pieces during this trip. Just waiting to see how you'll style them. Get well soon n God bless.

So glad to know you are feeling better. Julie, you sure found some great items. I also had one of those hanging storage diaper holders. Love the pocket change tray. You really did wonderful on this Goodwill thrifting haul. Hope you continue to feel better. Take care. Cookie in Mandeville Louisiana
Missed you last week so glad you are back! Yep, it's a record holder to keep your albums or smaller records upright instead of stacking them. Cool find.
I am glad you are feeling better Julie. Score on the pocket change plate for only $2.29. My husband said it was used for records. I also love the glass, Pitcher. Yay! You bought the pretty basket for $3.29. Great finds. Blessing.💖💞💖
8:25 is a record holder. I just turned 71 and had one when I was young for my collection of 45rpm records. You had to keep them in their jackets to prevent the metal from scratching them. When I when I went to college my mother gave mine away. I was furious!
It holds records. I loved that white precious moments cross- so pretty. I would've definitely bought that crystal pitcher and that beautiful white gravy boat. Such great finds
Hi Julie! Welcome back to the land of the living! We really missed you. That was such a great haul you showed us. I caught a glimpse of a maroon sugar dish that I think would look gorgeous as a candle. I remember the diaper holder. When my baby sis came around we didn't have much room. So she had a diaper holder and a bassinet for sleeping til we moved. You have a great day and we'll see you soon!❤
Love the blue canisters! I would love to find some like that in my area. You have a great thrift store!!! The ones in my area, the prices are ridiculous!! Glad you’re feeling better!!!
Julie, glad you’re feeling better was praying all was well with you. Missed you! Great haul. You were absolutely correct that was a record holder. I think I might be as obsessed with brass as you are 😊, the little pocket change dish was an awesome find. And the rare find creamer was amazing. Beautiful sconce. 💜💜💜
TV One puts our old records in that to seperate them & keep them handy to pull out & play! I am 77, MY HUSBAND & I HAD ONE JUST LIKE THE ONE YOU SHOULD US!!!
So glad you are better! I have missed seeing your videos! I love how you suggest decorating ideas! Thanks for sharing with us! Love everything you scored! ❤️
It so nice to see you back on line I'm glad you're feeling better amazing finds 😊❤❤ see you soon enjoy your beautiful weekend with much love 😍 from California xoxo
Yes Julie I hear green is the new color I just painted my dining room white with black trim but I have a cabinet in there that my brother built me 30 years ago and I painted the cabinet. It’s like a cubby cabinet mounted on the wall takes like the entire wall. It’s so cute. I painted a sage green and it really makes the room beautiful.
Interesting format at the end!---Whenever I see baskets at the thrift store, I automatically think of you, & then I spend a few blinks pondering whether or not I'd use it...nope! I have two very large baskets, but that's the extent of my basket lore!---You know that if you hadn't purchased that wall sconce, you'd have regretted it later (you've expressed remorse to us before!), so the purchase price was the exact price to get it home! Sometimes, if I can't decide on whether or not to buy something, especially if I think it likely to still be there the next time I go, then, if I got back another time & that item is still there, THEN I know it was meant to come home with me! If it's gone, well then, someone else loved it just as much as me, & I saved some money.
I loved the floral black meal tray tables. They were very vintage looking and certainly unique. I hope that you bought them. Even to use as a tray in the kitchen or dining room. Or on a coffee table, like you had mentioned. Thank you for giving us ideas on how we can use or display something that we love. 🌞
The brass rack is for record albums 😊
I can’t believe you didn’t get the little chicken quilt 😮
Glad you are feeling better missed your videos
I think that may be a 45 record holder. I had one back in the 70's. Surprise l can still remember!..😊

Yes, vintage record holder. The wire things with the music notes on each end.
Thank you 😊!
8:35 It held 45's back in the day, and they would have been in their paper sleeves also. They are solid Brass.

So glad you are feeling better! Missed your videos!
Julie glad u r back!! Can you please show us how your are going to clean the pocket change plate glad you are back on your feet and may the lord hold you in the palm of his hand
The music note rack is probably for the smaller vinyl records. I used to have a similar one back in the 70s, but mine was triangular.
So sorry you were sick. I truly understand. I was out of commission for over a month with the cold/virus (whatever you want to call it) when it came our way. It was no fun! I think the brass piece with a music shape on the end is a record holder. - maybe 45's if not albums.
